The food was good and was not expensive like Coney Island or Mutts. I got four hotdogs, three drinks, three bags of chips and a hot link for less than $ 21 not bad. Good service. You could tell it was family owned. I had one worker throw my trash away for me then I asked for a refill and the best part is I saw the guy wash his hands before even attempting to grab my cup. Will go back.

I saw this place had opened a while back, and honestly, I have never been tempted to eat anywhere near that bus station. It remained a curiosity to me for a long time though. The other day I was coming back from another restaurant and walked past. They had a lively man wearing a hot dog costume out front, and another man playing the saxophone. It only struck me half way down the block just how good the saxophonist was. This piqued my interest. These people are putting so much gumption into trying to draw people in, if they are putting half that much effort into the food, the place has got to be solid. When I walked in, I was immediately surprised to see many options, not just hot dogs chili and or cheese. I will include a menu shot. Whatever was in the display window looked awesome. I ordered the chili cheese dog, given it was a first visit, and I wanted a metric. While I waited I noticed a tv, and several top car salesman awards hanging on the wall. Maybe that’s where the showmanship comes from. It’s a family business, they have the portrait on the wall. Everyone was friendly, the place is brightly decorated and clean. There is very little seating inside which would be a problem in summer, but there are a few tables outside. I’ll give them props. I like that they have self pride and are doing such a great job projecting that. The dogs were pretty good too. All the ingredients were fresh, nothing was stale or old. I’d like to try that brisket dog in the future. I hope these guys do well. I like them more than Coney Island. The only down side is the proximity of the bus stop. They have to keep a bathroom key… Hopefully that proximity brings them some business though.
