I’m only giving this place a one star because their web site says they open at 1:00 on Saturday and Sunday! It’s 1:30 and they still aren’t open! Poor management! They are closed for the off season and their web sight did not reflect this, drove from Yukon to have a beer, feeling pissed, will not be back.

I am in love. With a bar. And a server. Little taken aback by the two star rating but as a visitor in another city, I loved it here and when we came in on a Saturday night, we weren’t disappointed! Limited to the patio swing seating since I had my husky with us, the first swing we managed to snag with our predatory skills was actually broken so we were a little sad. Skillfully we observed the one next to us opening up and our server was able to save it for us. For the life of me I wish I could remember our server’s name; she was taller, had dark hair and tattoos. Regardless, she was the absolute sweetest thing! Extremely knowledgeable, excited to be there, and on top of her service. It’s not everyday a couple bar hops with their dog in tow but everyone was absolutely accommodating, even the door guy. We gravitated more towards their specialty frozen drinks which were on point. My dog legitimately even had her own bucket of water so she was pretty happy. Overall, I will for sure be stopping by again.

I didn’t even want to give any stars to this sorry bar. My friends and I(a group of 9) came to the bar one night to celebrate our 33rd birthdays. We waited for awhile and no one came to wait on us so we had to go look for a server. We finally found one and she came over and asked to see our IDs. I was searching for mine, but remembered that I had left it at home. She told us we had to leave since I didn’t have my ID, but I told her that I wouldn’t be drinking since I’m pregnant and my friend tried to tell her that we were celebrating our 33rd birthdays. She rudely kept saying sorry and that we had to leave. We accepted it so we just sat for a couple minutes trying to figure out where to go next. I look over and the server was talking to a gentleman, maybe the manager, and then soon after, he came over to our table and loudly asked us, «is there someone here that doesn’t have an ID?» I told him it was me and he rudely yelled that we couldn’t sit here b/c it’s state law. My husband told him sternly that we were leaving and so he got off our backs. We did not cause a scene or anything and were treated like we were filthy misfits. I have never endured such appalling service. We were all surprised and disgusted when we left the place. I am still disturbed by how we were treated ’til this day. It was just unnecessary to be treated that way.

Bricktown has so many bars but why visit this one? The rocking chairs. Yep it caught my eye with people swinging away sipping their drinks while enjoying the music. The atmosphere is great, but the cocktails are ok. I ordered the piña colada it wasn’t the greatest but not bad, strawberry daiquiri was pretty good. Overall had a great time relaxing outside :-)

The reason this place is getting a one star review is because of our server, Brooklyn. She is very rude and we even asked if she liked her job because of the rudeness. She said she loved her job but was nowhere to be found when another drink was needed and even responded«what do you want» when someone went and found her to order other drinks. The band was amazing and the drinks were good though.

Great atmosphere and location. Norm even hangs out most of the time, drinking along w the crowd. But Brooklyn, the server, is rude, pushy and not especially attentive. She knocked the place down several notches just with her snide presentation. Plus, they were out of most drinks I tried to order. For a place that only sells drinks and cigars you’d think they’d be a little more on their game. Great bands tho!

Had a great time here with a couple of drinks and enjoying the little canal the water taxi cruises down. We had a half hour before our water taxi ride so we decided to go up to Capt. Norm’s for a drink. Josh, the bartender, was really nice and gave us some suggestions for dinner, which we did choose from and were delighted. Drinks are great, prices are fair. They have live music in the evening but we never made it back. We would visit again if we were in town longer.

Where the owner gets drunk and will yell at his customers. He is also known to be fond of changing employees schedules and firing them when he knows they are pregnant. Another great bar owner in OKC.

This place is out of three or four types of beer that I wanted, as well as out of any cigar on their list. Would’ve been nice if our waitress let us know of that.

Who doesn’t love rocking chairs?! Who doesn’t love patio lights?! This place combines them both, but you might need to get there a little early to secure one of these VIP seats on a weekend. Oh word to all of my drunk leaners– don’t lean on the little table on the swing chairs. The table is detached! We got the stink eye and a mutter from a guy staff member that helped re-situate the table, but the super wonderful cocktail waitress told us that it happens all the time, and she brought us a new round after my friend’s tipsy dad dumped the four drinks on himself with a table lean. Reviews are true– drinks here are not cheap. Their fancy girly ones are $ 10. They advertise themselves as best piña colada in OKC, I believe, but ehhhhhh. Their frozen drinks are quite sugary and slushy. I had a third of a strawberry daiquiri and let it alone since it was too sweet for this cake-loving, brownie-eating girl to handle. Normally we come here for one drink before moving on, and the Vice is a better choice as it’s a little less overwhelming. Music is always really great here. In fact, it’s my favorite part. Upper deck has a few TVs if you want to watch a little football.(Some crazy person got the staff to change the TV yesterday night to baseball when college football was on. I don’t know how that’s possible, but whatever.) Definitely a fun place to stop for one. I do recommend it.

First, I love patio type experiences. So they have a great location on the bricktown canal and we were lucky enough to score a swinging bench. Also, they have live music which I think always adds to the experience. I knew it was a place to get cigars, so even though I don’t like being surrounded by cigar smoke, I knew what I was getting into and am not making that a negative. However, the negatives for us were the cocktails. My husband had a white russian and I had 2 Long Island Iced Teas. I don’t know why I even had 2, but I think that I was hoping the first one was just an accident. The Long Islands just tasted mostly of sweet and sour mix… really sour! Both drinks seemed VERY weak. Even though the prices weren’t bad, they still weren’t worth the prices. I think that if you are there for a beer and cigar, you will give it 5 stars, but if you get mixed drinks… you will be disappointed.

I went here on my birthday this year and I was pretty disappointed. I loved the idea of sitting outside on a cute swing and having a drink. I ordered«the best piña colada» and it was not the best and way overpriced! Also the service was so slow… My boyfriend gave up and went to the bar to order our second drink and the waitress got an attitude about us not ordering from her. We left shortly after that. I do not plan on coming back.

Walked into their compound through the unlocked gate which they claimed was locked(Gee, I must have picked it!). It was a few minutes before 11:00 a.m. opening. Was asked to leave. It’s an open air bar where I could have sat to get out of the heat for a few minutes then ordered something. They would have none of that! The two gals were just talking and not getting ready for anything. You have one chance to make a first impression. Thought you should know«captain».

Always always have a great time!!! Wish they had more swing sitting. Awesome atmosphere and service. Can’t wait to go back. And the pizza place right above delivers and you can always get some tacos from across the way and bring with you:-)

The place is the coolest! So no, they don’t have any food, but they tell you that right away. So eat before you come! The swing/table contraptions to sit on outside are so neat! This is the main reason I wanted to go here. I love them! They are a bit squeaky but very neat. I want to make one! Anyway, we had beers a cigars and it was a great relaxing night. We had two different waitresses and they were both very attentive and helpful and friendly. We were there on a Wednesday night so there was live music. The band(which was just two guys … I can’t remember the name now) was really, really good! Enjoyed them a lot. everyone else there really seemed to enjoy them as well. They played a lot of songs that everyone knew. All in all… this is my favorite summer spot in Bricktown.

It’s kind of hard to write a review of this place because I really only get to experience half of their offerings. Alcohol and Cigars is all they sell and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Patio swing seating, live music, and decently priced drinks make this a nice place to sit and relax after a fun day in Bricktown. I’ll definitely be returning for a drink; maybe after a movie at Harkin’s or a Thunder game. Who knows, maybe I’ll try a victory cigar after a hard fought win even though I’m not normally a smoker.

No food but a chill place on the water for some reasonably priced drinks, swinging patio chairs, live music and front row seats to see the drunk nimrods jump off the bridge into the water

A great spot to hang out for drinks– Right in the heart of bricktown. My friend and I hung out here over a weekend and Alex and Toni took great care of us while the bartender poured us some amazing drinks made with cracken rum. The patio and atmosphere made this a great spot while listening to some of the local sounds of Aaron Newman. When you’re in bricktown come to Norm’s and ask for Alex or Toni and go check out Aaron Newman.

We went at 8pm on a weekend. Handwritten sign by the entrance said«Seat yourself. No food.» so we went and found a seat near a guy cleaning tables. After he came and went a few times, we asked him if we could order. He rudely explained there was no service & if we wanted something to go to the bar because table side service was only in the evening. I’m not saying it was rude for him to tell is that, he was very rude in the way he told us. Confused, since it was 8pm which seems like evening to us, we said thanks and went to the bar. When we got to the bar, a waitress intercepted us and asked if we wanted to order anything. She took our order and said she’d bring it to us. Confusion continued, but OK. Our drinks arrived & the mixed drink was AWFUL. Like, undrinkable. Our waitress asked how the drinks were and we told her the mixed drink was not good and didn’t taste at all like a Hurricane. She apologized and said she’d taste it and then took it back to the bar. A few minutes later she brought it back and told us the bartender said he wouldn’t remake it because he made it properly the first time, and she couldn’t replace it with a different drink because it was made correctly. She offered to «add something to it» if we wanted. It was so gross, nothing would really fix it. We left a tip for her(she seemed nice — just bad policies) and left. So: rude employee, bad drink & worse service from the bar, and very limited menu w/o even a snack. Did I mention it was $ 15 for one Hurricaine and one bottled beer? Needless to say, we don’t be back. No indoor seating.
