Beacon Bar offers something unlike most other bars in the city. They specialize in tiki drinks, but the games are really what’s unique about this bar. Try the Painkiller cocktail though, for real. Not only is there the typical karaōke and trivia nights, but have you ever heard of foot pool?! It’s a huge pool table in the ground with soccer balls and you play with your feet. It’s really cool to watch up top from their second floor. The other fun game they have is bowling pins you knock down by throwing footballs at them. It’s a lot harder than it sounds!
A young professionals group I’m in recently hosted an event here, and it’s a great space for a group of about 40 plus many more if you include the outside.
