We had an excellent experience with Marmoleum in a mud room so we chose that product for a small bathroom. We visited the store and the sales person was helpful. We agreed on a product and a price and the material was supposed to arrive in a week or 10 days after the room was measured. Measuring went well but I never got a call. I called the store after a couple weeks and they said the product had just arrived. I waited for another call to get installation scheduled and it never came. I called again and eventually we got installation scheduled. When the crew came to install the floor, the material was damaged. I had already done the demo. The store called and they were supposed to «overnight» the replacement material. Two days later it arrived. The crew worked most of the day on the tiny bathroom and the results are acceptable. The store knew that we were not happy but there has been no contact from them to see if we could be compensated for their lack of performance(which was offered in one phone call). I called the store and even offered to purchase the damaged product to use in another location. I wanted to offer a «win-win» situation out of a bad one. I’ve gotten no response from that. The product is ok but the people don’t communicate and it appears as if the process is broken. Review update: After I posted this review, Tom from the store called. We spoke for a while and he apologized for the experience. He also said the review prompted them to make process changes so this would not happen again and offered to compensate us for the trouble which I accepted. I am impressed that he stepped forward, took responsibility and worked to resolve a difficult situation.
