We had just moved to Ogden, UT from WA State and purchased an older home that needed lots of love. We didn’t know who to go to so turned to the phone book and saw this company who could do it all. It also had been approved by the local consumer advocate«Gephardt Approved». We went with Any Hour for those reasons and $ 3400 later we had no water running in the basement(except for the active leaks) and upstairs only hot water at the washer bib and a jerry-rigged spigot from under the kitchen sink for cold along with a leak in the bathtub(no running water) and what we found out later is a new hot water tank installed not fully to code. We had no other way to get recommendations as we are brand new to the area. We found another plumber who replaced all — ALL — the old copper/galvanized with new pex in the ENTIREHOUSE, new faucets, correctly installed the hot water tank, ripped out all the bad work from Any Hour and it cost us less than $ 2400!!! On top of the plumbing fiasco we needed them to check for leaks in the gas furnace. They wanted to charge me nearly $ 900 for replacing items that don’t even exist on the make and model of furnace we have! They guy said that after fixing those items — THEN — he could test the furnace and it probably would need to be replaced anyway. We called a different company who had no problem turning the furnace on and it was a simple fuse and safety part that needed to be replaced. He did those things and cleaned the furnace and replaced the filter for about $ 140. This is a VERY bad company — dishonest and they do shoddy work. I am telling my story to every person who will listen and asks me «How do you like Utah so far?» Any Hour also did electrical work that was WAY over priced. You pay a LOT of money for them to put on those floor protective booties. I’d rather save the money and have competent work done at a fair price and instead.
