I’ve eaten at barbecue places all over the country. I have to say the barbecue here is some of the best! I always stop by when I’m in town. Try the chopped beef and armadillo eggs they’re amazing. The service is always great as well. If your looking for barbecue in Odessa you have to try this place!

The brisket burritos here are absolutely delicious! I lived in Odessa for 25 years and had only tried the place once maybe 15 years ago. I had a brisket burrito from here a week before I moved away from the area and was very disappointed in myself for only having just discovered how good their brisket is. 4⁄5 stars because I went through the drive through and it probably took 15 minutes for me to get my order and there was only 1 car ahead of me in line. For the quality of food, though, it was worth the wait. BBQ Barn will now be an essential stop any time we come back for a visit!

This place has true barbecue! They also have the best customer service in the area! I love coming here, and every time I come I can’t go without getting the armadillo eggs they are to die for! I seriously recommend this place for anyone who wants to be treated well while eating good food!

I’m here on business from KC. The BBQ chopped beef was delicious! The green beans and Texas beans we equally as good. Next time I come back I will definitely eat here again. KCBBQ is typically better than most Texas BBQ, but this food is the best! Now they just need beer.

I gave this place a try because my parents told me the barbeque was good. Nope I got a pound of brisket moist. Less than 10 dollars a pound and it tastes like it. Maybe out of the whole pound I got one decent piece of brisket that had good mesquite flavor. The rest had the after taste of old cheap beef jerky. The«armadillo eggs» are just bacon wrapped jalapeños with cream cheese. Now I watched the lady that works there get my 2 orders(8 eggs) from a clear plastic box from a refrigerator and put them in the microwave. Which means they gave me left overs from the day before. I hope because it was after 12 pm when I ordered. She put some seasoning on after they came out the microwave and that’s it. They were mushy and salty as hell! Disgusting! The potato salad tastes like it came from a grocery store tub and they just added more raw potatoes and mayo. One bite and it was trashed. One best thing I had ordered was the sweet tea. Other than that it was NOT worth $ 30 dollars. The barbeque was better before these people took over.

Terrible. Called 10 min before they opened to place a Togo order, and was asked to call back in 10 so I did& placed half of my order Then had to get off the phone due to work& called them back 2 min later multiple times and they wouldn’t answer the phone. Thanks!

Good mesquite BBQ. Brisket had been wrapped a longtime, but I came in late, just before close, crust was mushy, but still good. Sausage ok. People were wonderful. Try coming in when they open to get brisket right out of smoker. I will come back. I think I will try ribs next time. —bacon wrapped cream cheese stuffed jalapeño is hallelujah.

This place by far has the best service in west Texas + is very clean(hard to come by these days)= 2 stars. The to go food was wrapped very well thus nothing spilleth over. We ordered brisket, German sausage, + ribs with all the fixings. Though the ribs + sausage were nothing to write home about the brisket was truly amazing– this is where they excel. It was juicy, red [aka perfect marbling], tender, + smoky≠ 1 star. Personally I’m not a huge brisket fan but I cannot wait to eat this smoky Texas staple. We also ordered the steeply priced armadillo eggs, to our great surprise they’re the best in town hiting all the right notes= 1 star. Wish they’d bring in better accompaniments for their stars, the brisket + armadillo eggs. However, until they do I’ll enjoy their star players.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. The place is very small… maybe 5 small tables. The BBQ was fairly pedestrian. Beef was ok, not exactly moist, but ok. Sausage was nothing to write home about. The ribs I had were a little too smoked for my taste… the use of mesquite is tricky… if overused, it can leave an acrid flavor. The sides of beans and potato salad were fine. The place was very clean. Service was quick and very friendly.

Small and easy to miss, but worth the effort. All of the meats are tender and tasty, but I particularly enjoyed the ribs. Mac and cheese is really good side. Fast and friendly service.
