These guys are great! The staff at Silver Lake Auto are true professionals of their trade. I recently was unfortunate to have my vehicle break down on
the highway. After speaking with Mike (technician) I was able to get my vehicle in and have an accurate and honest inspection conducted. He gave it
to me straight and identified all the discrepancies. The engine required a complete overhaul, and even though I did not have the repair work conducted,
I am confident Mike and his staff would have completed it without fail. He even let me store the vehicle on site until I was able to sell the vehicle
as salvage. I appreciate the honesty, professionalism, and proficiency at which this business operates. As a military service member new to the area, Silver Lake Auto has made a lasting impression with me as a business dedicated to quality and respectful service. Makes me wish I lived closer to Oconomowoc!

My husband and I love Silver Lake Auto. They’re extremely accommodating, fair priced, and they can even service our Prius (they recently announced the ability to recondition hybrid motors as well). They are also a local UHaul location, and they’re much more easy to work with on rentals than UHaul retail locations I’ve used. We took our car in for a quick tire repair today, and I walked out down only $ 25 with a bag of chocolate chip cookies. Great place, great service… and they can do your emissions test as well!
Free wifi if you need to get some work done while waiting for your vehicle.

Needed last minute help with my hood. They saw me that day and all was fixed in 10 min! I left with a yummy bag of cookies too! Thanks Silver Lake Auto!

I highly recommend this shop. The folks here a friendly, and professional. My vehicle malfunctioned on the interstate and needed to be towed in. They offered all the services I needed under one roof. This meant I only had to deal with one business.
They made the repairs quickly and returned the vehicle the same day. They made only the repairs required and did not try to push additional repairs. They did do a check of some additional items and informed me as such but did not at any time tell me it had to be done.
I will take my vehicles back to them if the need arises in the future.

Three things I like about this place: 1. They take appointments, 2. Very friendly, 3. They didn’t try to sell me something the dealership claimed was critical. In other words, they are honest and want to keep customers. I just moved to Oconomowoc and I have a great place to go with my car.
