We’ve been here a few times, always hoping it will get better, but it doesn’t. Out of the 5 times we went we’ve had one «decent» experience. The service is always slow and the waitresses are not attentive. The quality of food changes with each visit, there is no consistency! The blue cheese dressing is always different. Last night it tasted like yogurt with bleu cheese crumbles in it. Last night we decided try their fish which was good last time. However, it was a disappointment. Both the baked and fried were over cooked. Which was interesting since their were only 3 other tables on the restaurant. The baked had too much seasoning, probably trying to cover it up. I ordered a fresh plate which was ok, but not at all good. With both plates I got a baked potato which I didn’t order, even after letting the waitress know the first time. My boyfriend tried it and said it wasn’t edible. His fried fish lacked taste and his side of wake fries were a joke! He ended up ordering a burger because he was still hungry, which was actually ok! The manager did come and talk to us and gave us a free desert, but after so many disappointing experiences we will not be back!

Major disappointment. We were excited to try Bucca, but after our experience, we will not be returning. We sat at our table for 20 minutes. No server came to check on us or take our order. Even after asking the host to have our server stop by, no one came. The host apologized and took our drink orders, but after waiting another five minutes (still no drinks) we got up and left.
Service that awful does not get our business. Do yourself a favor and skip Bucca.

Solid Italian Café in Oconomowoc. I was surprised at the large menu. Lots of Italian options but also plenty of burgers and their breakfast menu is quite impressive. They have several benedict options including one with pineapple and another one with bruschetta and fresh mozz. My husband enjoyed his biscuits and gravy (I called it prison food).
For lunch, I had their chicken spinoni sammie. It was delish… topped with spinach and artichoke spread, bacon and cheese. Their version of a Caesar Salad has avocados! It’s Wisconsin so they have the obligatory Friday night fish fry but they have way more options than most WI resties.
Happy to have this lovely little independent restie in Oconomowoc!

Our family had been frequent visitors to Bucas during the first year they were open. Over the past several months we had been avoiding them as the customer service has declined. On Friday we decided to give them another opportunity to impress. It was a mistake, 10 minutes passed before we were approached by the waiter. When our food arrived we asked the waiter for water and Parmesan cheese. 10 minutes later we flagged the hostess and she got us these items and we still hadn’t seen our waiter. He did stop 10 minutes later but never returned with our check. We went to the checkout and asked the hostess for our bill and she did apologize and found it. As she began to check us out the tape in the machine ran out and she called over waitress. She fixed the tape but could not finish for some reason. She asked if we wanted to leave a tip. My wife explained why we would not be able to leave a tip. She looked at us like she didn’t care and said they were under staffed. I wanted to tell her that was their fault and not mine. Not once did she apologize or offer any reduction. This is how it has been. I’m sorry because we used to like going there. Benny needs to get his act together or many others will stop going. I’m never going back.

Don’t let the suburban décor throw you. Great food and amazing service. Stopped here by chance when some plans fell through and were very pleasantly surprised. Will definitely be back.

We were very disappointed with our meal. I ordered the lobster bisque. It was very oily without any lobster pieces. The scallops and pasta was very bland. It needed some spices or even to have been cooked in salted water. My husband ordered the pork chops. The plate arrived with one thin pork chop which was tough and chewy. Each dish was $ 22. We will not come back!

Great crispy Calamari! The Bruschetta was piled high with all the extras! A surprise stop on my way through Oconomonowoc!

We eat here all the time. Breakfast, Lunch and dinner. Always get a great meal at a fair price. Wait staff is great. We always hope we get Danny waiting on us. Love the soups. Benny is always adding new items to increase the options.

A nice refurbishing from the previous business. Fair prices, some twists to a mostly Italian menu. Not your typical family place or «Greek style» restaurant.
The brunch buffet looked beautiful, $ 16.95. I swear I smelled roasted lamb! I’ll be back to try it.
I had a prime rib French Dip, decent but with a bit more grilled onions than I expected — made for a very overwhelming sweet after taste.

Extraordinary lobster soup!!! With a flavor of wine in it.
However, the texture of the pasta could be more chewy… that’s the only point to make for the missing star.

Over an hour wait, expected a wait on Mother’s Day but also expected some professional service too. Received 1 menu even though there were 4 being offered. (As a previous poster stated) waitress rolled eyes when we asked for another type. We received our drinks in a timely manner but after sitting there awhile we needed to ask our server for refills (coffee and iced tea) — that seemed like we were pulling her teeth. She couldn’t get away from the table fast enough. Instead of asking if we needed anything else she bolted away so we then had to ask for utensils etc just to eat our not good meal.
When we got to ordering the waitress was short and inpatient when asked a question about anything. Getting our food 50 mins later things were cold, over cooked or under cooked. When asked to change some hash browns since they were mush to be a little more crispy (like stated when ordering) the waitress stated I’m not even going to tell the cook– and took them back and came back with deep fried shoestring hash browns. I could only laugh; yeah, I guess that’s crispy in a new way. We asked for things on the side of a waffle that was ordered and instead of it being on the side it was right on top and soggy. Eggs were hard, wrap was just ok, and french toast came out cold.
This was supposed to be a nice Brunch for out for my mom, family and me but instead we left disappointed and let down.
Will not being going back again.

Come On Wednesdays the prime rib is awesome the food is great the service is great we live two hours away we would come back for more
