So I understand that you need to have a license to shop here. I was asked to get touched for this special purple shampoo for my hairstylists since I live up the block. The girl freaked out saying I needed to leave the store bc I was not a professional. I expressed that I understood but should wouldn’t even be able to price or even co firm they have somethin in stock? She then asked my stylists name… Are you joking? How in the world would that be applicable let alone why would she ask this??? It was humorous since she almost had a brain vein pop over a simple question. Extremely rude. This young girl had black straight hair and a nose piercing. Work on educate and customer service.

I shop here very often and have never left unhappy. I usually find everything I am looking for and if they happen to be out of stock they take my name and number down and I always get a call when the item comes in. Everything is very clean and organized and the staff is very helpful.

The hours here are fantastic, the staff is knowledgeable and kind. I love this place. It’s my go-to for supplies for my salon, and they always have special deals! They’ve even let me know about upcoming promotions to make sure that I don’t over-spend. The store is clean, fairly well stocked, and these people are great!

Just an FYI: You must have an industry license to shop here. They sell brands that armstrong-McCall doesn’t and vice-versa so they are not competing companies. The store is well stocked, large, has goos lighting and is always clean. I was excited to find that they are retailers of Pureology which I was on the hunt for since I no longer go to my Eufora salon. Also, I was happy to see Essie polish at SC since I mainly have OPI and Gelish purchased from AM. However, I’ve found that the basics like foil, gloves, bowls, etc are a bit pricer than Armstrong’s. Despite the price point difference the biggest turn off for me is that whenever I ask questions about a product I’m interested in but not familiar the staff has not been able to give an answer and once or twice received an attitude. I’ve also been shopping and overheard employees talking badly about others who weren’t working which always feels unprofessional to me when you have customers. Overall it’s a great supply store if your in need of the products they carry and I don’t have enough experience with them to give a full negative opinion I find that I still favor Armstrong’s for my needs.

Brittany just saved me! I had to get a trim ASAP because I fried my ends with the hit iron and my regular hairstylists, whom I love dearly, is getting married and unavailable. Because I love my regular girl so much, I was very apprehensive about trying so done new. But, one of my friends suggested Brittany to me and I am so glad she did! I was welcomed to a cute salon and really professional staff. The best part is my hair is trimmed and healthy again. Thank you, Brittany.

Rating a store that I get a discount at is kind of hard. Don’t get me wrong, I love shopping at a discounted price. But I find that the prices at Armstrong Maccall are much cheaper and they always have way better promotions then Salon Centric. Besides that, every time I have gone in here the staff is never knowledgable about their product. My FAVORITE line of shampoo and container, I can’t buy!!? Because they don’t sell it at the salon? That’s crazy. I pay for my license. The least you could do is let me buy the product I want. The only reason why I shop here is because it’s right up the street from where I work. Other then that, Armstrong Maccall is a way better deal!

I’m writing this for my wife on her two times coming here. The first is a load of crap. My wife and her friend were told to come here by their friend to see a girl to help with eyebrows they are obsessed with getting good ones. They talked to some blond and she said«we don’t do that here» and wouldn’t help. They came back after talking to the friend who sent them and she said the girl is tan skin named Shanee. She redid both of theirs and refused to take a tip for helping. They came home and wouldn’t shut up about it which is better then whining. Her service made up for the bad first experience. Thanks Shanee.

I love this store! Linda is great, she always calls me when the new CND products come in. Keep in mind that they don’t have a large nail selection.

This is the worst professional store I have EVER shopped at. They never have seasonal promotions, they constantly change their hours and days of operations, and their selection is «poor» to put it nicely. They dont even sell common nail buffers! This place was better when it was Maly’s and doesn’t even compare to Cosmoprof. Pathetic to say the least.

1 stop shop for all your beauty, skin and hair needs. You do need to be a licensed esthetician, cosmetologist or massage therapist to be a shopper. Staff is always helpful and friendly and after you sign up you get a $ 10 off coupon in the mail. Like the previous review parking lot is always full or for compact cars.

This is easily the best Salon Centric I’ve ever been in, it carries all sorts of supplies for licensed cosmetologists. They carry hair color, shampoo/conditioners, curling irons, hair dryers, brushes, shears etc. Wide aisles, clean bright store but a crazy parking lot!
