I know that Protass has been around for years… a staple for many of my friends… but this is the first time in a while that I have walked in and boy have I been missing out! My granddaughter wanted a special/​trendy bracelet that apparently they specialize in. The saleswoman that helped me knew exactly what i wanted and brought me several to choose from. …but I couldn’t leave. The displays were so tempting and the stuff they sell is beautiful… if my friends are reading this… Christmas/​Hanukkah has been taken care of this year. No one rushed me and I spent close to an hour picking out gifts and a few things for myself as well. Protas is a true neighborhood find.

This store is delightful. It has nice gifts for others (or yourself). They carry brands such as Vera Bradley, Alex and ani, Brighton, and other specialty gift item brands. They have gifts that suit many price ranges (got my boss a couple bead bracelets that donate % of proceeds to a particular charity for $ 20, Brighton earrings for sister $ 20, a little notepad stocking stuffer for less than $ 10. There are plenty more items that are pricier if that is what you are going for). Variety of items to choose from-​bags, accessories, gloves, jewelry, pens, you name it! The employees are all extremely helpful and patient, making appropriate suggestions without being pushy.

I grew up around here and stopped in the other day to pick up a new belt. Generally positive experience. Nice men’s belt from Brighton. Helpful staff. Overall easy experience.

This store sucks. They follow you around like you are going to steal something. The salesperson kept interrupting the conversation I was having with the other person I was shopping with. I will not be going here again.

This is a handbag shop (along with other assorted costume jewelry). My grandmother works here. I am giving it 5 stars based upon service alone.
