Garage Door Medics – Oceanside

I saw Garage Door Medics working on a neighbors garage door. I approached after Caleb was done. He said it would be no problem to take a look at my garage door. Caleb was quick, efficient, and very professional. He quickly diagnosed the issues I had, provided pricing, and made repairs to solve the problems. Caleb is very knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had pertaining to maintenance and any future repairs that might need to be made. I would recommend Garage Door Medics to anyone who has garage door issues.

my opinion is:
they are scam artists pure and simple.
their goal is to make up unnecessary repairs, then up-​sell you.
it’s a bait and switch organization, based on fraud and deception.
recommend you don’t fall for it. report to police.

After the hearing the dreaded ‘scream of death’ by one of my garage door springs I called Garage Door Medics (which I happily used before for my in-​laws).
Jeff and Caleb arrived on time and discussed all of our options. After a moment of silence, they proceeded to replace the recently deceased spring. Also, without any sales pressure, we decided to euthanize the other 20-​year-​old spring (it was ugly anyway) and now the new springs are BFFs.
Afterwards, they took the time to carefully explain how to maintain all the moving parts to keep it running in tip-​top shape. Garage Door Medics have all of the resources of a large company while maintaining that ‘Mom and Pop’ feel.
P. S. Now the door’s so quiet I can sneak out and play poker with the boys! ;)

The spring on our garage door broke. I called, and they got back to me within the hour. A service representative arrived within 45 minutes, gave me a quote, and was back with the new spring by 3:30. He installed it within 90 min. (the old spring was obsolete and not replaceable). Service was perfect.
