Very slow service dispite being not very busy. We realized that there was second floor ocean view seating after we were seated in main floor dinning room. Really good pizza.

Wanted to stop in for a quick slice and to escape the heat but it was hotter inside than outside, so we left. As for the pizza, the last time we went there in 2012 it wasn’t very good but we thought maybe we’d give it another chance. Oh well.

Gross! It’s sad because my dad said it used to be good back in the day. Can’t believe I actually paid $ 28 for a pizza that was cardboard with ketchup. The worst part, there was no soap in the bathrooms, even after asking the waitress twice. It’s funny cause there’s a sign saying employees must wash hands too! Wish I would’ve kept on walking! Save your money, definitely not worth it!

Typical boardwalk establishment. Dirty floors. Noisy. Worn out décor. But the pizza was good. Waitress was a bit dim but can’t expect too much from a summer worker.

Two stars, only because I felt bad for posting one. My father says he used to come here awhile ago, and we came down for the day, and we decided to eat here; terrible. The pizza was okay, but we ordered a large cheese pizza with extra cheese and lightly baked, they came with a burnt pizza, I ordered chicken fingers because I don’t like pizza, and they weren’t the best, but not the worst. They sat us at a table that had a leaky ceiling, and was leaking and dripping all over the floor and on my chair. Keep walking, not worth it!

Is this place a hole-in-the-wall? Yes. Do they serve good pizza? Yes. I would never recommend coming here for a fine dining experience, but it’s great if you are looking a quick slice of pizza on the boardwalk. Like most places on the OC Boardwalk, it is older and not exactly up to date(Formica tables and dated furniture), but chances are you will be visiting them in your tank top & flip flops covered in sand. Don’t order an pasta entrée or appetizer — just go straight for the pizza.

Tony owns most of ocean city so he can make substandard pizza and who the hell cares. Tourists will happily walk in because it’s a respectable safe place to eat for the family. I’d rather have imperfect pizza in a more professional location. Tony is a good guy as well, straight off the boat from Italy. There’s not many of him left in America.

Like another beach area pizza place, the no free refills on drinks policy here is a downer. I almost understand the policy at this boardwalk/beach side location(as compared to Lombardi’s on Coastal Highway which is well away from the beach/boardwalk) but it is still an irritant and just shows the establishment as cheap and not very hospitable to their clientele. The pizza here hasn’t changed that much over the years. For some, that would be a good thing, for others, well it would seem to show a lack of initiative when it comes to their products. The crust on the pizza was crisp, though not too crisp(which would make it hard to chew). The cheese on the top was OK. Not overly abundant and hard to eat without choking on as I’ve seen people going to another beach area establishment(Dough Roller) had been at times for members of my family. The sauce was not plentiful enough to really comment on(I only ordered slices and didn’t custom order a pie where I might have had the opportunity to customize things more). The pepperoni topping was run of the mill. In the end, nothing about the food or drink was all that exceptional or encouraging enough to make me want to go back for more in the future as I at one time might have done. The facilities have aged and not seen much improvement over the years that the restaurant has been opened in this location. In their glory years things looked OK and the food seemed good enough to go back for each time I was in the area. Now I could easily look up at the suspended ceiling and see pieces that needed to be replaced or that showed serious signs of age just as a lot of the rest of the facility seemed to. I realize that the place is a resort pizza parlor right on the boardwalk. Weathering various storms over the years probably hasn’t helped things, but it seems like yet another restaurant I might see on a Kitchen Nightmares or Restaurant Impossible type show where the cooks and owners think their recipes and food are much better than they really are, and where they haven’t invested much back into the facility because they just don’t have the money to do so or haven’t wanted to do so with money they did have. In the end it leads to establishments circling the drain eventually failing. At one time I might have hated to see that happen to this place, but now I feel much like my opinion of the food — who cares?

Keep walking. Sat outside but does that mean I should have to kick a pile of trash from under the table? Pizza was edible.

NEWSFLASH! IT’S JUSTPIZZA! RECOMMENDEDIFYOU’RENOT A STUFFYSNOBWITH A DISCRIMINATORYPALATE I hate Unilocal trolls who just jump on the bandwagon of soiling a place. Since everyone and their mother below have learning disabilities, the staff is foreign. They come to OCM to work for the summer. It’s a pizza place meant to get’em in and get’em out. TOTHEFOOD: We ordered two larges with pepperoni. It’s the usual hand tossed, big slice pizza you would expect from any big city joint. It wasn’t gourmet, but it hit the spot as a place to get a slice or 16. It wasn’t awful, and I found it good. PRICE: My only gripe is the price. $ 22 for a LARGE?!! Thank God I just wanted pizza and didn’t care until after I got the receipt. Rent on the boards go up? EXPERIENCE: We carried out, so I can’t speak to the dining area. Looks like a cafeteria setting, somewhat dirty, yet it’s on the boardwalk and there are 100s of people who come in and out. You would expect it to get some filth.

YUK. I expect to pay a premium for eating on the boardwalk overlooking the ocean, but here you will not only pay a premium but all the food is YUK. We had calamarie, the Mexican Pizza, and Tortellini. I make better calamarie and tortellini at home from frozen dinners. The salad was exactly like those salad bags from the grocery store and they added onions, jalepeno & olives(none of which I ate) and a soggy tomato. Even the breadsticks were burned on the bottom and not browned on the top and didn’t come with butter. I didnt try the pizza but hubby said he only ate it because it was so expensive. My recommendation — go there if you are just looking for a drink and a nice view. If you want food, skip it.

I don’t understand the reviews below, this place was very nice ! We ate here for a late dinner and it was very nice ! We ordered a large plain pie, chicken wings and French fries. The pie was so good, thick and a lot of sauce; the French fries were the best thing ever ! And the chicken wings were okay not the best but whatever. Go here if your hungry but if your going to sit upstairs please bring a jacket it was so cold the other night !

The pizza is quite bad: basic«Ritz Cracker» crust, too much cheese, overpriced. But hey it’s pizza on a boardwalk, it’s bound to suck.

I took my kids to eat lunch at Tony’s Pizza right before we were going to leave to go home from our vacation at Ocean City. My family has vacationed at Ocean City every year for over 30 years and I thought I had some decent pizza from Tony’s about 15 years ago. I learned just how much a business could change over the course of time when I found a DEADBUG in my salad! Starting when we walked in I became wary about whether or not this was the right place to have our last meal before going home because our server was unfriendly, she took over 10 minutes just to bring our drinks, there were flies that were flying ALL over the restaurant and the floors were filthy. I ordered a salad and asked for bacon bits and tomatoes to be added to my salad. Our waitress brought me a salad but instead of bacon bits it had tons of what appeared to be under-cooked bacon fat that had been sloppily chopped and thrown all over a plate of limp lettuce. The tomato wedges were mealy and it was clear the tomato had gone bad. I asked for another salad without the bacon and she brought out the SAME plate(there were still bacon pieces at the bottom of the plate). She had just taken off the top part of my old salad and threw lettuce on top. I noticed black pieces of lettuce which indicated to me that some of the lettuce was rotten. I also noticed other pieces of lettuce that were yellow/green and slimy on the edges. When I picked up one of the slimy pieces of lettuce to observe it I noticed a DEADBUG!!!(I would post a photo that I took but can’t figure out how to get it on with my review) The management didn’t even apologize. They acted like it was nothing and told me that they wouldn’t charge me for the salad! I told them I didn’t intend on paying for the salad and that I thought they would offer some other compensation for such a disgusting experience at their restaurant. They finally offered to have me pay just for the food I ordered but to do that, they broke it down into charging me by the slice instead of the whole pie which I was initially doing, and charging by the slice is more expensive. As soon as I returned home I notified the health department. To add insult to injury, I wasn’t even half way out of the restaurant before our unfriendly waitress who took over 10 minutes to bring our drinks was rushing to the table to check and see if I gave her a tip. wow.

0STARS! Crap, –5 stars! Avoid at all costs. Unless you enjoy microwaved frozen chicken combined with cardboard dry pizza in a cafeteria setting. Tourist trap. Sadly I think they may never change due to a great location. I never write reviews but felt compelled to stop anyone else from going there. Plus, I will sign up for Unilocal because that’s the only way I can post this.

Just Bad Pizza. I have tried pretty much all of Ocean City’s pizza places. Tony’s is really not good. I’ll get to the taste… the pizza was overcooked. The crust was like toast and the sauce was dried up and«blackened» by the overcooking(Black edges where it was bare on the crust. Main reason the sauce was dried up is because there was not enough cheese to cover it, so it just cooked into the crust. Taste? Bland! simply not good. It is surprising that they stay in business with this product. Location is everything, I suppose.

We’d heard it was good and we went in for a meatball sub and a chicken steak sub. After taking our order and going to the kitchen, the waitress came back and said«we don’t have any bread so you can’t have that.» We really didn’t want pizza, so we left, noting the water-stained ceiling and general grubbiness of the place. This is just another joint that needs a makeover, not to mention a thorough cleaning. Supposedly the pizza is good, but we just didn’t want to try that!

This pizza is absolutely awful. I’m not sure what kind of dough they used, but it had a stale taste to it after just coming out of the oven. There are way too many pizza spots on the boardwalk. If you’re in Ocean City and you’re walking along the boardwalk, do yourself a favor and get your pizza elsewhere.

We were caught in an early morning rain with another couple. Among us we had five cold, wet, bored, hungry children. Pizza! Kids will eat pizza. Kids will accept pizza while waiting for sunny-happy-ocean-time. It was the first place we saw… we just really needed to get out of the rain… I know the Dough Roller was just a boardwalk block away… I know that NOW… but I didn’t know it then… we just needed to make the misery stop… But it didn’t. From clueless waitress to ridiculous wait for two pepperoni pizzas(Busy hand-tossing dough back there? Carefully selecting the two most conventional toppings on planet Earth? Because I could have sworn the pizza we eventually received was on par with Chuck E. Cheese or Little Caesars… but okay…) bleh, meh and a dash of ugh.
