Woke up late on New Years Day wanting breakfast food. We drove to Ocean City and found this cute café. The food was delicious, the coffee piping hot and the service was great! We were really impressed considering it’s a small hole in the wall spot. We are definitely planning to go back this summer to eat here again.

I happened to stop by this place for lunch during work hours. After looking at the menu I saw they advertised ½ lb angus burgers. The waitress asked how I liked it cooked and I stated medium rare. Well let me just that burger was the worst burger I’ve ever had. It was obviously frozen. Definitely wasn’t a ½ pound. And it definitely wasn’t angus… I’m not sure why she even asks how I wanted it cooked. Not trying to rain on anybodies parade here but this burger was garbage and I can’t believe I paid 8.25 for it. I’ve heard good reviews about the breakfast though. But my lunch experience was absolutely terrible.

BREAKFAST… it’s what we had, it’s what’s being reviewed. 4 people were served and left happy.
First– Service was outstanding. Our waitress sat us immediately (to be fair there wasn’t a line), took drink orders (4 coffee and waters) brought us two crafts of coffe (about 4.5 cups in each), then took our food order. She joked wirh us, had a good time, and I will look for her again.
Second– Food was out pretty quickly, (two omelets, french toast, and eggs over easy; plus scapple and bacon sides) Everything was very good, scapple was perfect (crispy on the outside, soft in the center)
Third– Prices couldn’t be beat. 3 of the 4 orders were $ 3.99, they do an early bird breakfast from 7:30 — 9:30 am daily. Regular prices aren’t «shore/​vacation» prices (very uncommon here)
A great breakfast place, and they’re open year round. I’ll let you know about lunch/​dinner after we stop back

This place was just awful. Should have known from the moment we stepped in, service was unfriendly, bothered, and awkward. The food was worse. I figured down by the shore the seafood would be fresh but It was NOT. Crab cake I ordered was inedible– it was greasy and I kept crunching on shells. The shrimp tasted it was right out of a frozen packaged bag. Avoid this place while on vacation– I wish I did!

I have not been to OC in a few years (been going for over 50 yrs!) what a Great foodie place on the boardwalk! We stopped in first for breakfast, my coffee cup runneth over! Never need to ask for refill! My spinach mushroom omelette was great. They suggested to come for dinner, so unbelievable! Wonderfull tasty dinner. Creative tasty antipasti appetizer a must have. I had the special scallops shrimp scampi that is more then garlic with a wonderful twist to the flavor. Couldn’t get anyone to share the secret ingredient, my friend had the filet minion with shrimp Demi glaze sauce. He is a steak man and was thrilled with the perfect temperature of the filet. Do not miss stopping in for a meal you never thought you could find on the boards!

This is a hidden gem in OCNJ! The food is fabulous and the service is very friendly! Great prices — I had the best gyro I’ve ever had and the breakfasts are the best around! Try it — you won’t be disappointed!
