My favorite bay area venue! Open for special events and occasions only. Cheap beers and cocktails, several small stages, magic brownies sitting out on the bar, and a hundred small hidden rooms, passageways, closets, and rooftops to get conveniently lost in. This venue is like an acid trip sober, but odds are you wont remain sober long at this awesome bar. Definitely hoping they reopen for shows and events in the near future!

I know this place has, sadly, closed… and no longer a not-​so-​secret ‘underground’ venue. But it still deserves a review.
I *loved* that space. I called it the ‘Bohemian Fun-​house’. I’ve never seen anything like it and probably never will. I’ve only been there once, but have had that gnawing itch to get back there. Perhaps someday someone somehow… will re-​open it. Or maybe that’s already happened and I’m completely out of the loop.

This place is a trip. Winchester mystery house with a carnival twist, with just the right funk. And I mean to the nose. But Halloween was surprisingly fun. Five stars, why not.

I went here a few times… very dirty but the house be shakin’ and rumblin’ and its sooooo amazing sounding !! The DJs rocked my ass off !!
However, underground? no. over-​hyped? yes. The crowd is shady but what else can you expect from a dubstep scene…
If you go here be prepared to be rocked but do not let your GF leave your side… she will probably end up in a top corner rafter being coerced into god knows what from some seemingly nice people with seemingly nice intentions…
