Sunny’s Beauty Mart

The owners/​employees of this beauty supply store are rude. I’ve been into the store a few times over the years and I’ve never had a friendly interaction with anyone working. I usually look past the poor customer service because the location is convenient, but I will not be back after the interaction I had with the owner today. The store is big, but the selection of products is very small and I wasn’t familiar with any of the products on the shelf. I was looking for a hair oil and naturally I wanted to know what the smell and texture of the product was like. I unscrewed the top of a jar of oil to take a quick look and smell, and the owner started screaming at me. I understand not wanting customers to tamper with products, but if you don’t allow exchanges/​refunds I need to know what a product looks and smells like before I buy it! I left the hair oil right there and walked out. And I actually found the exact same hair oil at CVS (where I can return the product if it doesn’t suit my needs) for $ 3 less. Go somewhere else, if you can. These people don’t deserve your business.

Great place to grab what you need and go. Lashes here are at a good price. But not the best place to socialize. They don’t talk much lol.

Can I get some customer service please? The owner doesn’t even care that you are in her store to buy anything. I don’t want you stalking me but I would at least like you to make eye contact, answer my questions and thank me when I purchase something, gosh! I rather spend my money else where.

This place is large enough to be able to find what I want but the service is lacking. I dont like asking questions because I feel like I am bothering them almost. I do like the fact that it is down the street from my home though so I can get what I need fast. I have had to exchange hair supplies before and it was a snap.

Compared to other beauty supply places in the Dimond district this place has the best prices. However, I cannot get past the horrible service! These owners NEVER greet me when I walk in even though they make eye contact. I“ve never received even a thank you after spending money in their store. I now pay a little more for product a few doors down from Sunny’s just because I get a smile and a «thank you.»

Despite the large size, this store does not really have a good selection. And their prices are TERRIBLE. The staff was not very helpful either. I walked in and there were three staff members. No one said hello to me or offered to help me find anything. Even when I was at a counter, clearly looking at items that I would need help with none of the three came over. I had to walk over and ask for help. If no place else is open… I guess I might buy some stuff here in a pinch. They do take credit cards, but… I doubt I’ll be back.
