Season’s Grocery was a regular chinese grocery store selling veggies, fruits and chinese groceries. it was operated by Carol C’s. parents from 1959 to the summer of 1972.
i’ve spent time there. her recent post jarred my memory.
it’s not a case of «out of sight, out of mind»
in the olde days, all chinese groceries did look alike (except for the whosalers and importers). the names were usually prominently displayed in chinese but not english…
