Matt has tutored our daughter Natalie in her high school math classes since 2012 has given Natalie the tools to succeed. She is currently a freshman at Vilanova University. She relied on Matt to explain concepts she found confusing and Matt delivered every time. Matt formed a great rapport with her and she was able to face her math classes with confidence. We can’t say enough great things about Matt — he is truly the best! We have used other tutors in the past and Matt is THE BEST! He communicates well with the students and truly cares. Whenever Natalie needed an extra session because of a test, Matt worked with this schedule to make it possible. Thank you for everything, Matt!

I met Kevin and Matt in Fall 2013 right before the beginning of my son Derek’s junior year. Derek has been an A+ student but his grades have been gradually slipping during his sophomore year and especially during the last semester. After discussing the situation with the school advisory staff and within our own family, we decided to get Derek weekly help with some of the subjects that have seen the greatest decline (Algebra II and Chemistry). Derek has always displayed a passion for science but has started to lose interest throughout the year. The lack of motivation and belief that he can get back to an A really hurt his self-​esteem and confidence. He was a bit hesitant about getting outside help to say the least.
Matt and Kevin showed tremendous interest in Derek and his study habits, confidence level and personal attitude toward learning from the very beginning. It took a while for Derek to get accustomed to weekly sessions and the commitment that such a schedule entailed, but Kevin did a remarkable job keeping him enthusiastic and engaged. After a couple weeks, I started to notice a real change in Derek’s attitude toward his Pre-​Calc class, it’s almost as if he became determined to do well for himself AND to show Kevin how serious he has become. As a result, his grades steadily increased and he finished his junior year with an A– in math (we are now getting ready for AP Calculus BC).
