Came here last night after eating down the street to have a quick drink before we headed home. Ended up there all night. Small place, good vibes, cute lil old bartender man, and the owner was chill. Coming back to eat down at Marica’s again and coming back to have some drinks in a couple weeks :)

Best St. Patrick’s day ever! This pub does it all. I’ve been a couple of times for St Pats and they don’t hold back. Free corned beef sandwiches, bagpipes, Irish car bombs… You get the drift. Go there.

Cheap, does the trick, and doesn’t mind if you get a little rowdy. You can be in a group or a lone barfly and none shall judge thee.

Walked by this bar sooooo many times over the years and finally went in for a whiskey with a couple girlfriends. Solid neighborhood dive with a good whiskey selection(tho who orders a Jim Beam Apple, and why!?) The restroom lacked toilet paper but somehow that wasn’t surprising.

I enjoy coming down to McNally’s when I get the chance. And it reminds me of an Irish pub that I used to go to when I was in college in Tucson. I enjoy the setting because it like coming back home in an environment that I am use to. The owner of the establishment and the bartenders were extremely friendly and nice to have a chat with. Especially this bartender that I talked to Annie. She was lovely and I thought she was too cute to be true. The selections of beer and spirits that they have were just like the ones I had back in Tucson. I was not expecting them to have Fernet Branca because I always thought it was a SF-type of liquor that they have there and lo and behold, there it is. I especially love it when it’s with Coca-Cola as a mixture because it’s gets the senses going in so many ways. Again, I loved it. I also was a fan of Guinness because that’s was always my go to beer to get. But the one beer I miss the most that reminds me of my college days was Shiner Bock and I was sad to see that they don’t have it. But I digress. I love coming to McNally’s Irish Pub because it’s the home away from home that I know I can always count on.

McNally’s is simply a fantastic bar. The atmosphere is always amazing. Whether it’s packed with locals watching the game or just a few friends grabbing a drink after work, this bar is an amazing place to kick back. Tobias, Brendan and Geoffrey are all great bartenders and just really great guys all around. Lots of great memories here and hopefully many more!

McNally’s is a great neighborhood bar! When you walk inside you feel like you are home… Maybe it is the fireplace. Or the bumper pool. Or perhaps the fantastic bartenders, that are always ready & willing to serve you up whatever you are thirsty for. FYI, they have an awesome beer selection. From customer appreciation night with a DJ and drink specials to watching your favorite sports teams on one of the many large screen TVs in this joint… You will be happy you stopped by. Oh, and if your friends are too busy to join you, feel free to bring your best friend, as they welcome dogs!

Absolutely amazing bar. Tobias is a great owner and the other bartenders are great. Always an amazingly friendly atmosphere and great employees and service. I love this bar and that it really caters to the local people and service industries in the area. I won’t go anywhere else.

The BEERIS A LIE! Don’t let the big neon Harp Lager on Draught sign in front fool you like it did us. «We don’t have Harp, but we have Stella»…wait, what? Sure I was a little confused, but ordered a Guinness and tried hard not to judge. The place might be misleading with their signs, but they’re «keeping it real» when it comes to the dive bar experience. The poorly framed dusty photos of smiling irishmen were proudly displayed throughout the empty game room, only adding to the feeling of disappointment and sadness… I decided to lighten the mood with a little competitive video shooting; A couple of dollars later, we were laughing and having a great time! It was a fun game with different levels and stats that encourage you to make light hearted fun of the guy you are beating! Maybe it was an off weekend or something, but my impression was this: A sad empty place holding on to good times that have long past. I’d love to be wrong, but I will definitely give them another try next time I’m craving a Stella.

Enjoying traditional Irish music by the Elderberries band in the secret back room here. So fun to watch people do traditional Irish dances. There are actually two venues at this fun Irish pub. The front has a long bar bumper pool table and bar scene with loud music. In the back there are enjoying different music. The secret back room has a «somebody’s garage» feel to it. Posters on the ceiling of «The Who» band. Kegs stacked up. Green streamers hanging from exposed pipe. Very cozy.

I don’t know how this place has 4-star reviews. It is the dirtiest, most disgusting bar I’ve ever seen. Covered in dust and cobwebs. The furniture is all broken and falling apart. The bathrooms are tiny, molding and filthy. The service is horrible. They know they are going to be packed for an NFL game, but they only staff one bartender and her sister(not a bartender) so it’s impossible to get service. They have regulars walk the floor to get empty glasses instead of hiring someone to do that. Clean the place. Hire more staff. Buy some new bar stools. Get your act together.

I really WANT to like this bar because it is the Oakland Seahawks bar. But the bartenders don’t know how to handle a crowded bar and unless you’re a regular or really assertive it is near impossible to get a drink. I made the mistake of thinking the bartender would notice me standing there for over 20 minutes. Meanwhile a regular just went«Watch this — HEY! I want a fresh squeezed!» and got served immediately. They don’t have food like many of the other local dive bars provide during football season. They also supposedly have drink specials during the game, but I’ve never seen that.
I’ve been warming barstools at McNally’s for 12 years — my husband is from Oakland and literally lived up the street on Broadway Terrace. Every time we come back we make sure to grab a pint here. I have noticed that it has turned very«frat-ish» and is usually packed when we go but that’s usually over the holidays. Tony is still pouring pints…

This used to be an amazing Irish pub. A place where your glass is never empty and you had a smile on your face. Every since the new owner took over a few years back it’s gone down hill. It’s now a place where frat boys play Flip Cup with the bartender and the regulars sit idle with dry mouths. If you’re looking for a classic Irish pub, look further… much further. — Written by a once loyal McNallys family member turned to a distant relative

Winston Churchill said that one of the primordial human joys is found sitting in a dark Irish bar while enjoying a pint on a beautiful sunny day. Or was it was James Joyce or Mark Twain… OK, You can quote me if you like.
