What was I expecting from an Asian jewelry shop? The lady was more interested in watching her TV show vs helping us choose something. and when ask for assistance, she has a divorce shopping around or going to buy something. None of the items wereprice tagged and she asked us if we had a price range which raised suspicion.
Great service would educate customers on items they are selling whether or not they had the intentions of buying. and if they were also a good salesperson, they would actually convince a purchase.

Took in a pendant to have set in 18k gold. Was suspicious given the handling of the invoice so I bought an acid test kit. Gold tested at 14k. Took back to the shop and asked them to test. The owner realized he was busted and refunded my money. Also, gold weighed 3.23 grams vs 3.75 grams written up.
Buyer beware these people are not honest. Test the gold you have bought from this place.

we dropped in on a saturday afternoon to get my friend some new hooks made out of 24k because she was allergic to regular metals. jing and his helper who i assume is his daughter hooked us up immediately. few places were open at this time so the immediate service was more than we could ask for

I came to get the clasp on my yellow gold chain fixed. The owned fixed it in 10 minutes and charged me five bucks. He didn’t try to push me to buy anything else and was very honest. I would totally go back here again should i need to repair chinese jewelery, watches, or get more beautiful jade pendants! A +

I have gone into so many Chinatown jewelry stores, and have finally found someone I trust. I have some pretty nice watches, and he will be truthful in what he can or cannot do. I’ve asked David to change out the batteries for my luxury watch, and he didn’t charge me a measly $ 5 (which at the other places, didn’t really trust why it was so inexpensive). Instead, he’ll put a quality battery with his signature marker on the battery, so he can identify his work), and charges you $ 10-​$ 20 for the battery). So, after so many years, of nervously changing watch batteries at other Chinatown jewelers, I can finally trust the guy to do it like the manufacturer would, but at a fraction of the price.

I have to give credit when credit is due, I have been dealing with the owner David for some time now 4 – 5 years give or take. I bought my wife’s engagement ring when we first moved to our new home in Alameda. We basically got married and made use of the beautiful ring David made for us (22k yellow gold with nice big ruby up top) As time progressed we eventually had 3 kids and remodeled the home from top to bottom so money was re allocated to other thing rather than me getting that matching 22k wedding ring. So about 3 days ago I finally dropped by to see the folks at jing Long and 3 days latter I was able to put the wedding band on my better half’s finger. David has been super helpful, honest and direct. In my book he is a stand up guy that will not rob you blind like other jewelry stores out there. Thanks again David.
