When I first got engaged, I knew that I wanted to invest in a quality photographer. Jennifer’s name appreared here and there on the ever so popular site WeddingBee and I just knew I had to meet her. We made an appointment to see her and couldn’t believe how down to earth and warm she was! Initially we were only looking for a local photographer to do our engagement shoot in SF where we live but once she heard we were having our wedding in Maui, she told us it was her favorite hawaiian island and that she’d love to shoot our wedding as well. She even worked to stay within our budget — a major plus!
Our engagement session was shot on a crisp fall November day at Chrissy field and I cannot rave enough about her professionalism yet how she made my then fiancé so comfortable! He has difficulty smiling on command so when she was chit chatting with him about scuba diving we never knew she was clicking away at the same time! Thats what we love about Jen the most, her ability to talk to you so casually yet be able to pull off such amazing photos. We got our e-​session pix back and knew we made the right choice. WE. LOVED. THEM.
So on the last week of July of this year, she flew out to shoot our wedding in beautiful Napili Bay Maui. She showed up in her usual cheery way and started snapping away. The whole day she was always around to snatch all the important moments and again made my husband and all our family and friends feel so comfortable. We cannot wait to see the results but considering our e-​session photos, I’m not worried one bit.
I highly highly recommend Jennifer Kloss to anyone who’s looking for a true PRO — someone who befriends you and makes you feel so comfortable and secure that she’ll capture your true personality and special day just as you’ve dreamed of.

Jen’s work is amazing & she is great! I definitely consider myself to be super picky where photogprahy is concerned & did a TON of research before finally landing on Jen. Obviously there are a ton of great photographers in the area, but she was willing to work with my budget & she was totally sweet & nice… not like some others! Plus she’s been great about giving me recommendations for other vendors too.

I can’t say enough good things about Jen. The pictures turned out AMAZING… really breath-​taking. Her work speaks for itself so check her out!
You don’t realize how much time you end up spending with your photographer — it’s nice to have someone around that you feel really comfortable with — the wedding is stressful enough. I’m so happy I went with Jen. Probably will be our best investment where the wedding is concerned.

I had a bit of an issue a month before our wedding: we had to cancel with the photographer we’d booked. I was a little freaked out, so I called every well-​respected photographer I could think of. Jennifer Kloss answered on the first ring and was SO wonderful. I didn’t book with Jen initially because she was out of our budget… and unfortunately a month before our wedding, our budget was even tighter. I thought that Jen, being so amazing, might know of another photographer who was more in our price range but was still super talented. Lucky for me, Jen’s assistant, Kim, fit this criteria perfectly.
Kim was SO amazing to work with. My husband and I felt totally comfortable with her right away. She is calm, funny and kind: just the kind of person we’d want with us on our wedding day. Because Kim hadn’t done many weddings on her own before, she and Jen wanted to make sure that we knew she was capable, so they offered us a free engagement shoot. We met Kim in Chinatown and had a great time taking pictures. Being models isn’t something we’re used to, so we felt awkward at first, but Kim definitely put us at ease. And when we got our photos back? Holy crap! They were awesome! She has such an eye for photography – we were so impressed. We had absolutely NO doubts about Kim going into our wedding day.
Sure enough, Kim was amazing during our wedding. There were times during the day when people freaked out for various reasons, and she did a great job of calming them down – not a job I would have expected from a photographer! She seemed to be everywhere at once, catching all of the important and not-​so-​important moments, and all the details I’d worked so hard on. When we got our photos back, we were blown away. She caught everything we’d hoped for and more. Firing our former photographer was the best thing we ever could have done. Kim was fantastic.

My husband and I worked with Jen for our engagement and wedding photos in 2006. We met with her initially to see her work and were sold by the style of her photos, her friendly personality, the fact that she shot in all digital, and she was in our price range. We had an awesome experience with Jen. She was easy to work with, responsive, flexible and the best part: all of our photographs are AMAZING. I cannot tell you how many people have commented on how wonderful our wedding photographs are. We did an initial engagement session with her at the location of our choosing, a park. It had just finished raining and we walked around while she suggested areas she thought would be good for us to take the photos. Both my husband and I were kind of nervous, never having done this before. She put us at ease and the photos are fantastic. On the actual wedding day, Jen and her assistant were punctual (very important!), cheerful, and also super important: incredibly calm. Jen has a casual, friendly way about her that really helps put you at ease. She captures those moments that you want captured but don’t realize they are happening until you see the photo later. She took a combination of the requisite posed photos at our request, which all turned out great, but the best were all of the candids that she took, which were the majority. They captured the beauty of the day (décor, beautiful weather, grounds, etc) as well as the emotions every step of the way.
We received our photos in a timely manner after the wedding and she even created this super cool slideshow of some of the shots that we could view online or send to our friends via a link.
I cannot say enough good things about Jen and her work as a photographer. We have just had our first child, and chose to have Jen take photos of him because we knew she would do a terrific job.

It was roughly two years ago when I attended my cousins wedding, Bobby and Claudia. Being it was a Chinese wedding I was expecting your typical wedding with a cheesy photographer taking the all too familiar poses and shots… ARR yooou Wreedy. Sae Cheeeseee!
Out of no where I see this petite little thing zipping past me! Click! Flash! Click! Then like a ninja she used her FLASH and vanished.
During the reception I had a chance to go through the engagement pictures. With each flip of the page my eyes widened. I was taken back to the sheer natural and candid shots of my cousin and his wife. The locations were totally unorthodox; Coin-​up Laundry, talk about different!
The way Jennifer captured each moment was amazing! Her style and the way she utilizes different angles, light, and perspectives gives the viewer a side that some may not see of the couple or subject matter!
While I was mesmerized with the photographs Jennifer out of no where popped up! Seriously you have to stop doing that. Now I know how you get those candid shots! Jennifer was very nice and quite a character! Though I wasn’t even close to getting married I told her that she will HAVE TO photograph my wedding, ha when that will ever happen. So she gave me her card and I hope to one day give her that call!
