Every single person there was amazing, from front desk to post procedure nursing staff. Dr. Stollman is a gem, easy to talk to, friendly & really cares that you get answers to any questions. If you have to have a procedure like this done, it’s about as pleasant as it gets (I wont get crazy & say «enjoyable»…you have to be a special type to «enjoy» a colonoscopy). Seriously, these folks all seem to give their best to every patient, and the goal seems to be making you happy & healthy… CRAZY RIGHT?! Hope I don’t NEED to go back anytime soon, but AWESOME to know this place is there if I do!

I had both of my colonoscopies here and both times I had excellent care from the friendly, professional and caring staff. From Dr. Darby to the nurses I always felt I was in good hands. The 4 star rating is only because of the front office staff. The young lady who greeted me was very unfriendly, cold and kept cutting me off when I asked questions.
I feel that when anyone is entering an office the person behind the desk should greet you with a smile.

I love the doctors here but the Asian front desk girl it is rude and stuck up. I was there for 2 hours and saw with my own eyes how rude she was with most patients and relatives, she must think that just because she works here she is better than others. The rest of the staff are very friendly and professional but this particular Asian girl needs more training on how to be with the public specially the patients.

Ok so we don’t think about colonoscopies as your usual Unilocal subject. I don’t know anyone who acutally WANTS to have one, but when you NEED one, who you gonna call? So… I had a general health screening colonoscopy as part of my annual check up. I was nervous as hell and not at all excited by the prospect of having a camera crew up my wazoooo… but then I saw Dr. Darby here in Oakland who set me at ease. He explained everything in detail from start to finish, what can go wrong, what to expect, EVERYTHING. His bedside manner is excellent – warm & caring, never making you feel patronized. I had the procedure at East Bay Endosurgery and everyone there, from the cute & funny chick at the front desk to the prep nurses to the procedure nursesand the assistant who walked my woozy butt out to my ride were nice, warm, friendly, and just generally made a not too great procedure into a positive experience.
