Del Taco

I really like this place. Food is fresh and tasty. Service is better than expected. Price are reasonable. Recommend if you’re in the area.

This place really need to work on there customers service skills. This cashier that works there have no manners at all. Did not ask me if I need any help or am I ready to order. He just kind of gave me the eye contact like what do you need. He didn’t even say a word after he took my money and gave me my change. I don’t expect royal treatment, but at least a thank you and have nice day. Is that to much to ask.

Not open late! They close at 9:30pm very disappointing. Otherwise its Del Taco the least offensive mexican fast food place. Love the shrimp tacos!

Great place to take a pit stop; recharge, relax.
Environment feels great to kick back and eagerly wait on that combo meal.
Clean and comfortable, a quick bite turns into feeling at home.
Service, top notch and comes with smiles, enthusiasm, and above all; honesty.
The delivery done by staff members to customers ensure accuracy and getting it right on the first shot.
Any needs? Cashiers are grooving to a west coast kinda vibe making the wait seem like flow-​a-​try. They go out of their way to come across the counter to ensure satisfaction of each customer.
Veronica and staff were quick to assess each guests’ individual needs and rapidly change positions to keep up with various demands.
The wait, well honestly it’s pretty great. Music sends the time into a well mixed Sunday afternoon kind a mood.
Customer relation between various crowds can be noticed by at least 30 minutes of observation. The meal is filling and affordable, satisfying my wallet as well as the body.
Even heard one of the employees bust out the wifi for some business person. Swear that person could have been more appreciative, but I’m sure the review puts more emphasis on the type of customer service that can be recognized here.
Oh yeah,
Bathroom’s connected with the gas station, but it’s cool. Extra time to think about road necessities.

Rally y’all, make it into Del Taco

My credit card got skimmed at this location, and now I’m dealing with reversing all the damage they’ve done on my account. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else or even better go eat real food that isn’t made by people looking to screw you over. If employees are willing to skim cards, imagine how little they care about the food they are preparing.

Oddly I am a fan of Del Taco. This location, however, does the brand no favors. It is connected, with a walk way, to the gas station next door. There was no line. The staff was neither good nor bad, just indifferent. My food came out in a timely manner.
I struggled to find a clean seat. I found the least dirty and grabbed some napkins to clean it up so I could actually sit there and eat. The food was disappointing for Del Taco. The flavors were off. It was bland, even after I added a good amount of hot sauce.
I will still eat Del Taco. I will just not utilize this location.

I don’t want to even give your lazy asses any stars.
Why the hell aren’t you open when it says you’re closed by 1am. It’s 12:30 and I’m am VERY DISAPPOINTED.

I bought beef nachos here the chips is oily and stale taste like crap. I call in try to get another one or refund those Latina girls was having fun back there and hung up on me Never go back here again Beware people.

I love Del Taco so much but unfortunately I had to give one star only because we drove 45 mins to be told they have no burgers and no green sauce. I came here to buy and double del and a ½ bean and cheese with green sauce. Blahhh.

Came in here for a quick lunch. Staff was friendly and helpful. Ended up ordering a Mexican salad which was good. Nothing special about it but simply good. There were a few tables to dine in. It loses a star because the parking is a joke. Its linked with a chevron and with what used to be a subway in a very busy intersection so you get the idea of how parking will turn out to be. Other then that food is made to order and they have a good menu with different options.

I’m a long time fan of Del Taco from when I lived in SoCal where you can find them everywhere. Since moving to the bay area I was over joyed to find a location some what close to where I live. I’ve been to this location twice. The second time was to see if it could redeem its self from my first experience.
The First Time:
I went during a week day around dinner time. There was no line in the drive through. I order my standard meal. Rolling up to the pick up window the staff was extremely rude, short, and unpleasant. Which I get working in a fast-​food environment isn’t anyone’ dream. Long story short they got my order completely wrong, food was cold, I asked for sour cream which was extra that I never got. Horrible representation of what was an amazing fast food chain.
The Second Time:
Putting the past behind me I attempted to try this location again as to prove maybe this location is having a bad day. I got off work at 11:30pm and arrived at Del Taco for a late night snack around midnight only to be told when ordering they were closed? CLOSED? I check before even heading that way online as to what time they close. Unilocal and the official del taco website both state that this location is open until 1am.
This is just a huge let down from a once great chain. I’m now a taco bell customer :(

Good food and great salads, but slow slow slow. Waited 29 minutes at 1245 today for a burrito. Please get it together or we’ll have to find a taco truck !

Same score but wow, this had to be, hands down the worst Del Taco I have ever been to in California. The burrito was awful and drenched in oil. The meat tasted like dog food or that consistency from Taco Bell. The french fries were burnt but also soaked in oil and brown. And the taco was again soaked in oil and broken through. Honestly the most pathetic Del Taco I have ever been to. And really the reason I don’t eat fast food much anymore. I wish I could rate lower than one star

This is one of the tiniest Del Taco locations that I have ever been in, but despite their size, they still have an awesome menu and plenty of seating for their flow of business. This place has one of the best value menus out of any fast food restaurant in the area, you can create a full meal for yourself and still spend less than you would for a mini meal at McDonalds. Their tacos are always fresh and definitely can’t be beaten for 69 cents each. They are packed with many of the same ingredients as Taco Bell’s tacos, but the only difference is that they are cheaper in price and have a less mass produced commercial taste to them, the shells taste like real corn and the seasonings taste hand crafted.

My husband and I lived in So Cal for 10+ years and love Del Taco. We moved back to the Bay Area but make at least one stop at a Del Taco when we’re down in LA.
We were happy to see this Del Taco open in Oakland and stopped by after visiting the East Bay. Unfortunately, we were SO disappointed.
We ordered a bunch of tacos but the taco meat was disgusting, similar to the greasy concoction Taco Bell serves. Definitely not the same ground beef found in the Del Taco’s we’ve grown to know in So Cal.
Definitely won’t be back.

I wish I could rate this imposter of a Del Taco with negative stars. They don’t carry the best food that’s supposed to be on the menu (big fat tacos)! Surprising, considering their prime time real estate location right next to the airport.

Sometimes it’s about convenience. Sometimes it’s about price.
On a recent weeknight, it was about both as we stopped in for a pregame takeout dinner before a Warrior’s game. While fueling my car, I noticed this was in the same lot as the Chevron station. We’ve tried most of the neighboring fast food choices and decided to give this a shot. The menu has a good amount of choices which is a good thing. From rice bowls to traditional Mexican fare (tacos, of course, burritos, quesadillas), there is no shortage of meal options here. There is also «American fare» like burgers and fries as well as combo meals. We chose a variety of food from the various food groups to try more things.
Nothing particularly stood out, but there was no criticism and, more importantly, no one ‘ran for the border’ after the meal.
Nice change of pace from In & Out and Wing Stop in the next mall.

Slow service and medium order of fries only came half way filled… was the employee sitting around eating my order of fries before handing over my order? Also, ATM machine was not working. Horrible.

Del Taco comes to Oaktown. pretty cramped space next to 7 – 11, in back of cheveron station. 24 hours. revamped menu. turkey tacos anyone?

I stopped by for the grand opening, and they were prompt, friendly, and suprisingly efficient for the first day. Better than other fast food options around, except for In –N-​Out!
