GREAT STAFF. Got my iphone 6S here! Literally everyone here is super FRIENDLY, so i would highly recommend this place! if you are going on a weekend, get there 10mins before they open! A line usually start before they even open at 9/​10am!
When you upgrade your phone, they will try to sell you a screen protector ($ 35) and a phone case ($ 40). DO NOT BUY them. It’s only $ 4 for the same kind of glass protector on Amazon (PACK OF THREE) —-(get it in TWO DAYS when you have PRIME). And for a HIGH QUALITY case on AMAZON, it’s only $ 6. Buy your screen protector AND case before getting your phone so you won’t have to risk your phone being naked for a few days.

LUKE knows his sh! t. This dude is like Santa Claus, your Fairy Godmother and Wonder Woman (and Anna Wintour as he was wearing the most festive holiday accoutrement) all wrapped into one perky, bubbly, irreverent smart ass… and we love him! Luke is an AT&T savant; he knows every option, angle and opportunity to maximize your AT&T account. We arrived, shortly before Christmas, to simply activate an old iPhone5 and retire my beloved iPhone4. My hubby, a former AT&T customer and was under another provider, was along for the transfer. Luke zoomed me past the passé i5 right up to a i6s, combined with my honey’s «welcome back to AT&T» discount and a new i6s as well. Now, our combined bill is lower than I had been paying for just my account. Make an appt with Luke or ask for him when you’re checking in. He’s Merlin the Magician of phones –and beyond! Mwuah

Not sure what’s up with all the negative reviews as I had a great experience. I made an appointment online and was helped within about 5 minutes of checking in at the front of the store. I knew exactly what I wanted, and that’s what I got. Kendal was professional and got things set up with my phone and new service seamlessly. It took a while for the phone to download everything it needed, and I had a lovely conversation as we waited. I was thrilled to see the credits I was getting by turning in old Verizon phone and as an existing Direct TV customer.
Happy to be a new AT&T customer. Would definitely recommend this location to others.

Came here to check out the new phones with my mom as my contract was ending. I usually go to the atnt store in chinatown, but since I was closer to this one I was like why not? Came in, waited for like 20 mins until I was helped, we asked about the prices and etc. the person asked for driver license and other sensitive information and proceeded to log in to his ipad and checked our current billing. about 2 weeks later someone got a hold of my mom’s credit information, address, online atnt info, and ordered a new phone. We found out when both our phones went out of service one day and we know that we payed the phone bills. This has never happened to us before ever, beware of this store and the information you release to the workers. Would not recommend this store to anyone, the service is slow also.

Really really really slow service. It’s been 1 hour and 45 mins and all we wanted was a prepaid SIM card. Come here if you want to waste your life away.

Service here is really slow. A worker came up to us to tell us he was here to help us. After introducing himself, he walked away. It’s been half an hour and he still hasn’t been back.

I just left this place without they being able to help me with not one of my phone issues!!! but when I checked in, explained my problems, the Manager David, told me they would be able to help me. So, I waited 20 minutes. The sales person comes over to help me and he tells me no, I can’t help you, you have to take your phone to the Apple Store… So my aux plug issue I explained to David has to be taken care of at Apple and my issue with my iCloud password you can’t take of either… After David said you could and I’ve wasted 20 plus minutes of my time!!! I’m pissed!!!

Go here if you want the employees to lose or steal your phone!
Note: I despise writing negative reviews and almost never do it, but my recent experience with this store really pissed me off and I need to vent on the webs.
Very long story short, when I purchased the new iPhone 6S at this location I surrendered my old device to them (iPhone 6) for a rebate. I have a receipt to confirm that.
Now ten weeks, 5 phone conversations with ATT headquarters, and 2 in-​store visits later, ATT has «lost» the phone I surrendered to them and charged me the $ 100 for it. Even though I have the receipt confirming the surrender, for some reason that’s insufficient evidence. W.T.F.
I cannot even begin to comprehend the ineptitude of the staff at this store and the company as a whole.

5 people on the floor, then 3 leave for break. One of the customer service reps talk to the security guard while the phone rings constantly with no attention. I would give this place zero stars if I could… management needs to check this place because soon there will be 5 reps on the floor with no one coming back to the store.

Takes forever… I just want a SIM card and a phone case. Waiting for over 30 plus mins. I had a horrible experience. Wasted my gas and time. When I finally got called and tried to activate it they told me I couldn’t because my pin wasn’t working. Then I went home and call att and my pin worked! But they couldn’t activate it so I had to go alllllll the way back to the store and apparently they couldn’t do anything even tho I’m an authorized user.

I’ve been sold faulty phones twice from here. Wouldn’t be a huge deal if it was easier to get them replaced. Looking at an hour wait time everytime I go in there. Boooooo AT&T

Really slow customer service. I have been here for over half an hour. If AT&T is supposed to be this big company then I don’t understand why they don’t have more people on the floor, there’s also two employees helping customers. I can’t even find the words to describe how slow it is here.

just got back from Lakeshore ATT… Aaron spent at least 1 ½ hours with me, patiently answering questions while he did all the work to back up both my and my husbands old phones on I Tunes, which we had (unsuccessfully!) tried to do at home… we now have all of our info loaded onto our new phones (which Apple was unable to help with.) AND he got $ 50 back for one of the old phones, which Apple also didn’t tell us about.

A-​OK review for a short interaction that didn’t leave me hating AT&T.
Water damaged iPhone, needed a new SIM card. And while I got the replacement phone at the Apple store in Emeryville, you could not pay me a million dollars to walk across the street to the skeevy Bay St. AT&T.
The Manager was doing check-​ins and let me know that I could get the SIM and put my name on the list for activation help, or go home and activate with the ATT 800#. Easiest transaction I’ve ever had in an AT&T store. Unfortunately, when I got home, the 800# customer service rep told me they can’t activate SIMS from retail stores because they have no way to «track it.» After a conversation about what the hell that means, and asking for the manager to be put on the phone, the rep came back on and said «while you’re waiting for the manager you can activate online — here’s the address.» So while on hold I tried to do so. Um, no, you can’t when you already have a phone # that you’re just trying to attach to a new SIM card. So when same rep came back on the line I was ready to go off but she said «my floor resolutionist has looked at it and we’re going to activate it.» Which basically means they looked up my account history to see that I wasn’t trying to run some scam, probably.
So be aware, Lakeshore store manager, that this is the run around that customers will get if they try call the 800# to activate a SIM card they received from you. I think it was an honest mistake, so I’m not going to mark you down too much for it… and if I ever have to go to AT&T again I’ll try this store first.

Besides long wait and hard to find parking, this is gotta be the best ATT store Ive ever been to.
The store in general is very well layout, clean, air conditioned, lots functional real phones and accessories to play with, and lots seats! Greeter checks and talks to you once a while making sure you are fine and happy.
As I just needed to pickup my online order, sale rep Choi provided exceptional services in order to complete my order. She also tried to look through all the deals they have currently so that I can save a few $ on the accessories, what a great person!
As me and my pregnant wife were walking out the door, Choi ran in front and opened the door for us, her service is well beyond perfect.
Definitely recommend going to this place.

Needed to upgrade a phone today. Started out at the Bay st. Emeryville store. Got there when it opened and left without being helped about 45 minutes later. I’ve written a second review on that experience. But let me say I agree with another reviewer who called the staff at the Emeryville location, unprofessional and suly hacks.
The Lakeshore Store was busy and we were greeted by a very professional man (Marion Gaffney) who took our info and gave an approximate waiting time. We waited about 15 minutes. The difference in just the mood in this store was amazing. It was busy but people were upbeat and lively. They were even walking thier customers to the door when finished!
After waiting, our name got skipped and I told Marion. He took us right away. He was helpful and very nice. It took awhile to change my son’s phone over and Marion made sure we knew we were not forgotten. When we were done, he walked us to the door.
I did not share my Emeryville story with Marion. He was just being his usual professional self. I did tell his manager of the difference. And I thanked her.

I have been an AT&T customer for more than 10 years now. For most of that time I have always been helped by Ever. Whatever store he works, I follow him and always seek his service. He is always so helpful and patient. Although we only see each other every 2 years or so, he remembers details here and there about my boring life. =P We are not friends, he is just the only person that I trust at AT&T. You know how it is with SALES… It is always nice to have someone your TRUST. I don’t know what I would do if he were to ever leave AT&T. Hopefully before that were to ever happen, he can recommend someone else trust worthy and reliable. I will continue to go to this store so long as Ever is there.
TIME! I see a lot of people talk about WAIT TIME. Yes, on high traffic days, the wait can be HOURS. So, plan ahead and make an appointment. — OR — Be at the door when the store opens to ensure you are the first person to be helped.
Overall. Great customer service. Very patient with their clients, and will not rush you out the door.

Att service counselor /​Teq Ever help us over 2 yrs or more already he is very patient and good to old person. I always appreciated his service and detail help when we got confused about ATT plan. One time I wanted quit ATT that we use all service at home but after Ever explain about plan etc… We decided stay with ATT. ATT is very lucky have such a great Tequnitian like him! We will keep ATT as long as he work there! So comfortable to ask him all question and advices. Also all workers in this store they are very nice people. I recommend stop by this ATT store…

Wow. The difference between this amazing store and the unprofessional, surly hacks at the Emeryville store is night and day!
This is the second time I’ve been here. The staff are smart, thoughtful, communicative and interested in meeting your needs. Even though they were incredibly busy, a greeter and a manager met us at the door and communicated clearly about the wait time. They told us when to check back and we were pleasantly surprised to see that our wait time was cut in half when we did.
We were waited on by the wonderful Monica who was so pleasant and warm and super clear about ALL our options. She was a great salesperson without being incredibly pushy. I can’t believe the stark contrast between this amazing store and the unprofessional staff and the horrors of Emeryville! Go here!

Never come here if you’re in a hurry. Been here 5 times and never waited less than 45 minutes.
Why have a been here 5 times you ask? Because they keep screwing up crap.
