Alex has been giving lessons to my daughters & I for a few months now. Hes patient & understanding, talented & a great teacher. There are those that can play, but not all can teach! This man can do both. His love of music, reasonable pricing, flexible schedule & dedication to his students success make him a great choice. Learning guitar has been on my bucket list for a long time. Thank you Alex for being a great teacher & an all around good guy Highly recommend!

I took lessons with Alex for several years. He is an extremely versatile teacher. He has a deep knowledge of music theory and was great at tying the theory to techniques for improving my playing. As my playing interests changed over the years, Alex was able to hone in on the skills I would need to get me to the next level. We covered theory, picking technique, scales, gypsy jazz, classic rock, bluegrass, arpeggios, funk, and soul, just to name a few areas. When it came time for me to play gigs, Alex was able to offer advice from his extensive experience playing with bands. I feel very fortunate to have studied with such a gifted teacher and accomplished player.

I have known this guy my entire life and was fortunate enough to play in a band with him for several years. I have seen him go from guitar enthusiast to the absolute professional. He is currently in several professional bands and bleeds guitar. I have recommended several of my students (I’m a Social Studies teacher) his way over the past few years and the feedback they gave me was that he was beyond dedicated to making them better, extremely patient, fun, fair, relatable, and the perfect combination of flexible and stern.
It doesn’t get much better than this.

Alex is a patient, easy going, knowledgeable teacher. This guys got dedication and talent for all things guitar –all while balancing live shows and teaching with a great positive attitude. Alex is always working with you to teach and learn playing skills at the pace you need while building and connecting previous lessons with new content. Bring in your favorite tunes, he’s likely heard of it and if not, all too willing to dig in and break it down for easier comprehension.
Beginner or long-​time player, Alex will something for you to learn.
