Best torta. Best carnitas. Good service. Place isn’t very inviting at all. The place is a little«hole in the wall» ish… Made to look a little festive. The place was empty when we arrived so we didn’t have to wait long for our food. The two kids that work here are really friendly. The girl is new but she’s so nice. I ordered the mega torta and my wife had the enchiladas. I can honestly say it’s probably the best torta I’ve had in many, many years. The carnitas were outstanding. They were very tender and chunky, not stringy like most other places I get them at. While eating a rush of people came in and out with to go orders. The interior of the place isn’t very inviting so maybe that’s why people aren’t staying but the quality of the food is there. Hope to get a chance to eat one more of their tortas before I leave this world. Seriously. Get the carnitas torta. It’s huge so you can share.

My husband and I love this place. Local, nice people, family business and yummy. Ordered a fish taco and asked«Does that come with sour cream?» Nice man behind the counter said, «You want sour cream? I’ll add it!» And he did. Really great soup, hibiscus tea, and horchata(delicious cold Mexican drink). Going to try breakfast tomorrow. Can’t wait!

Tried very hard to have breakfast here today with my wife around 8:15am. Could see people moving around in the kitchen area with lights on. Both doors were locked. Called the phone number twice before giving up. Nicked on doors and windows. Love to support local business and wanted to try a new place. Not sure what else I could do. Couldn’t wait all day. Sign on the street says they open at 7am.

Husband and I stopped here for dinner since I’ve been seeing this restaurant every day we drive to/from work and wondering about it. He got a carne asada plate and I got a carnitas plate. The atmosphere is casual fast-food: you order at the counter and they bring your food out. Sodas were served in to-go cups though main dishes were served on plates. Chips came in plastic baskets and the salsa bar looked complicated and diverse. Food was all right. Carnitas was way too fatty for my taste. The meat was in big chunks(not my style) and some of the big chunks were literally nothing but skin/fat. Husband liked his carne asada but said it didn’t wow him and I found the chips very blah. Oh, I’m not sure if they have different types of beans available but our plates came with refried beans and it wasn’t obvious if there was any other choice. I know that matters to some folks… Service was decent — the young woman behind the counter didn’t seem too familiar with the menu and when I asked what came with something she picked up a menu and read it aloud to me(I had asked because the menu was a little faint and hard to read in places). When our food was delivered she didn’t volunteer that my tortillas were warming and would be right out, leaving me to wonder if they simply forgot to bring them or if I mis-head that it came with them. She did check on us a few times though and offered to refill our drinks for us, which was nice. Overall it was an okay experience but I probably won’t be back. There are a lot of Mexican restaurants between our work and home and this one isn’t at the top of my list.

This place has great food. Very relaxed and can make it however you like. I like the chicken and shrimp fajitas here. They give you an extra mini quesadilla too. Thanks, Ryan Elliott Troop Real Estate
