The large bar area has 5 flat screen tvs. Nearly every time i’ve been here during the day, the bartender has Judge Judy, CNN, or Ellen DeGeneres on EVERY tv. What is going on? This is a bar right? Or is this the bartenders living room? Heres a tip; put sportscenter on at least two tvs at all times, unless there is an actual sporting event on, in which case you put that on. This is not hard people. Also, the juke box costs $ 1 per song, where are we in Hoboken?

We were out to Celebrate! One of us had just picked up her very first Brand New Car !!! Our specifications were simple enough: somewhere nearby; casual dress; & most importantly– a new place– somewhere none of us had ever eaten before. So, our party of 3 last night, chose the Milton Inn. We ended up more than satisfied with our dinner choices. Each item prepared– was«just right».(the Cream of Spinach Soup, which was included with my meal– was delicious!) The Filet of Beef, ordered«medium rare» was served Exactly as promised.(It is sad how often, At OTHER Places– the request for this precise level of doneness is destroyed through over-cooking and most resembles a car tire– not edible). NOT so at the M.I. We could not have asked for a more friendly server than, Pat. Attentively anticipating our needs, her timing was perfect. Never hovering; always nearby. Questions about specific menu items were happily and Knowledgeably explained with a smile. The brightly lit rest rooms were spotless and fully supplied. The check was Most Reasonable. Surprisingly, over the course of many years, it had never occurred to any one of us to stop at that intersection for anything more than to pick up a bottle of wine from the liquor store on the ground floor… What a shame; all we needed to do was Look Up! That, and press 2 in the Elevator! Kudos to the Milton Inn. And… CONGRATULATIONS to my dear friend– Miss TL& her beautiful New Car! I wish you many joyful years of safe travel & amazing scenery. XOXOXO Maur4all.

* This review only refers to my experience with growler fills and is no reflection on the restaurant, service or food. I frequently go to micro breweries and brew pubs and always bring my own growlers to be filled. I intended to get a growler fill at this local shop which has a bar/restaurant above it. The prices listed include the purchase of a glass growler with each particular beer. When I asked what the price was without the growler that’s when the confusion started — and I didn’t get an answer to that question. The issue was I had a 64 oz Hydro Flask with me which I intended to fill. After the bartender placed a call to someone they refused to fill it. So if you want beer in a growler here it looks like you must buy the bottle from them as well which i won’t be doing. Anyway, I left without a fill and won’t be going back. So much for supporting a local business.

The food was decent enough but the service was terrible. There was 1 waitress on a Saturday night who was running around like a chicken with her head cut off while 2 «clean up girls» stood staring at her and the tables. We would have a pile of dishes piled up on the side of the table and have to literally ask them if they could come get the dishes before they fall over. I asked if they had Sangria, the waitress said«No» and I just asked for another minute so I can look over the drink menu. She left and didn’t come back for almost 15 minutes when she saw the hostess taking our order. Will not be going back. Not impressed at all.

Just in the bar for lunch. Only German beer was Becks. Wings were good ample portions. Burgers were 9ounce but nothing special. Onion rings and fries just regular frozen. No homemade beer batter. cThe waitress was nice and friendly but we had to ask for water, catsup. mayo, cheese they forgot. Seemed more interested in the couple of regulars at the bar! ! than getting a new patron. Don’t think we’ll be back.

I have never had a bad meal or experience at the Milton Inn. Mike(the owner) & his family are great people. Food is fresh and delishous. Eddie the bartender is a great guy and veteran behind the bar. Knows how to make great drinks of whatever you like. Highly recommend stopping in for lunch, dinner or drinks if in the area.

Bar is nice. In its own separate room, TVs to catch the game. Friendly bartenders and great service. Food is always consistent. Friendly people at the bar. One of our go-to local places.

Skip this place! This was my second time eating here… well attempting to eat here. The first time the food was decent and service was good. This time my GF and I walked in to find nobody but 2 locals and a bartender. My GF went to the bathroom and I politely asked the bartender if I could sit myself at a table or if she had to seat us. She snapped that she was the only one working and that I need to take a menu from her. Then without pause asks me what drinks she could get me(I didn’t even have the menu in my hand). I answered that I’m not sure yet, then she rolls her eyes at me and walks away. My GF came out of the bathroom and we walked out. I called when I got home and a woman who claimed to be the manager answered; I explained that the bartender was rude to me and caused me to walk out. I was going to explain in more detail but she never asked what happened, no sorry, no anything. I quickly realized that she was not even listening to me. Makes you wonder how these places stay in business. With the Grasshopper opening soon you would think they would be treating their patrons with a bit more respect. Will NEVER go there for alcohol or food.

Food and drinks are consistent. Large creative menu with healthy and desiring options. Bar area has an internet jukebox and about 5HDTV’s. Staff is friendly and patrons are harmless(sometimes can be unfriendly in a townie bar, but nit here). Family runs the store below and are very helpful as well. Only place I go in town.

We just moved to Oak Ridge and have been trying all of the local eateries. This place would be good to catch a game if all you want is standard pub food and a sports bar environment. The service was poor, interior was bland and food was less than average. Most concerning was that it was understaffed and the staff working seemed to lack discipline and passion… which usually spills over into kitchen cleanliness etc. Many tables were not bussed with food sitting on them for a long time. We could not get table service. The bar tender made us walk to the bar to order. I won’t go back unless it is to catch a game that I can’t get on Direct TV at home.

Nice people and service. Completely lacks atmosphere. Walls bright and feels like a doctors waiting room
