I am very happy with the service and quality of Smart Cleaners. I have gotten a bridesmaid dress tailored, work pants, undergarments, shirts, and more tailored here. The man is very nice, reasonable, helpful if you are in a hurry, and wonderful service. The work done by the tailor is fantastic quality. The prices are reasonable

I lived around the corner and patronized Smart Cleaners regularly. I found them to be fairly inexpensive and they hemmed a few pants and did a couple of sweater repairs which were cheap and satisfactory. They have always been timely and very pleasant.
I read a review that lamented that burnt buttons and not quite crisp shirts can occasionally be expected at all dry cleaners, but I never experienced that here. Pay when you pick-​up and yes, they accept credit cards.
Kitty corner from the Oak Park blue line stop, and right in front of the Oak Park Ave. bus stop, but parking can be a pain.
