I desperately needed a Diet Mountain Dew this afternoon. I didn’t want to go to Walgreens because they rarely have what I need, so I decided to go to this non-​chain store right down the street.
After wading through the crowds of high schoolers on Lake Street, I was secretly thrilled to see the sign on the door that says «3 kids at a time” — sorry if that makes me a curmudgeon ;)
It is a nice, big, well-​organized store. It’s also very well-​stocked, which can be rare in the mom and pop convenience stores. Definitely I’ll go back!
