We also look to shop local whenever possible and try Pieritz first for our school supply and office needs. They don’t have the huge selection like Staples or Office Depot but they usually have everything we need and the items are always high quality. The art supplies are especially nice and we often buy gifts here for our teenager who loves to sketch and paint. I always pick up a few of the custom-​made greeting cards. It is handy to stop in when you just need 1or 2 of something like a binder clip or a highlighter versus having to buy a whole package of something at one of the big box stores. We never have trouble parking and can just run in and out in 5 minutes. We are grateful to have a local shop like this in our neighborhood and in order to keep it there we need to shop there. We encourage others to as well. Friendly staff, convenient hours.

This place is a true Oak Park gem, the embodiment of the reason to shop local.
I frequently call them for some obscure or unusual office supply item, they find it and have it within a few days. Admittedly, the in-​store stock isn’t equal to the volume available at the big boxes, but what they have is impressive, and they have never let me down when I needed to find something– no matter how strange.
This place is the real deal, been around for a long time and they treat their customers exceptionally well. It’s my go-​to place because they have earned it.

Amazingly beautiful and fulfilling to shop at Pieritz. The store itself is a work of art, filled with fascinating memorabilia They have a great selection of all the things you commonly need and a wonderful group of artsy gifty things, too. Watercolors, pastels, markers. The card collection they produce has images for every mood and they have the best selection I’ve seen of pencil sharpeners and erasers. Plus the service is knowledgeable and attentive. Bravo. I literally bring all of my out of town guests to Pieritz, just so they can see this jewel box of a store. Love it.
