Usually a good place but waitresses can’t seem to get the order right. English is not there first language so you have to be clear and go slow so they understand. It is ridiculous how they mess up the smallest of orders. Used to be a regular go to joint but after back to back mishaps. It’s safe to say I won’t be coming back. This is a review from my experience. Don’t take it and not go. It might be the perfect place for you.
Never listen to others and presume. Hope you have a better experience than me.

I love betty. Betty and chimmiechangas are life. the level of fire that the chimmie is; well you shouldn’t eat a chimm6 anywhere else. like suh dude these chimmies are so fire mmmmmmm

Service was hard working and friendly but I was a bit disappointed that with my taco order it was just assumed this gringo wanted it gringo style (lettuce, tomato, cheese). I am actually an onion/​cilantro gringo. Oh well, its not a big deal. The steak was fabulous while all else kind of felt generic and middle of the road. I’d say this place kind of fits in the pack of taco stands, nothing bad but nothing great. I’d definitely spend another dime if I was in the area but I’d have to try a couple of the other taqueria’s around before it got a second go round.

The best Chicken Pozole around. If you don’t want the beef that usually comes in the traditional Pozole, simply ask for chicken instead. Shhhhh… The Coffee here is also some of the best around. Bottom line, the food and service has been consistently good here for as long as I can remember, making it a go-​to for Mexican food in Oak Lawn.

One of the very few places in town that are open early enough to serve Mexican style breakfast. They’re very quick and the food is always amazing! It’s a must try

Very nice waiters. Walked up and asked if everything is okay every 7ish minutes. Fast food service. Tortas was great, but I felt the taco was a bit grease

I was always skeptical to try this place based on its name alone like a chinese restuarant meets mexican.
Read some Unilocal reviews and everyone seemed to love this place so i tried it.
Got 2 steak taco dinners to go along with a large horchata and guac and chips. By far the worst place Ive ever had mexican from.
They didnt put what I asked for on one of the taco dinners, cheese looked gross and wasnt even melting on the hot food which makes me think they use imitation cheese.
The guacamole was so bland. The beans were bland.
Only thing I some what enjoyed was the chips and salsa.
Not sure how this place rates so high, I wouldn’t even eat this for drunk food.

First time going after a recommendation for a friend and it was very delicious and high quality. Friendly and attentive staff. Had to try out the place before I left the neighborhood and will definitely return if I come back.

Very good burritos, good hot sauce. Best burritos in three Oak Lawn area. Parking can be a bit challenging at times, but it is worth a try

Stopped into this place because I had a wicked hang over and needed soup Menudo (tripe soup) sounds terrible but usually makes me feel much better. I’m picky with this soup and was a little hesitant on ordering because not everyone makes it good. I’m glad I stopped into this place because the soup was great. I also had a steak taco which was okay not great but not bad either. The salsa was yummy since I love onions and it was loaded with them. The staff was very attentive. It’s a small place with big tvs to keep you entertained. This small place had a good flow of people coming in too so this place is A Okay in my book for a tasty spot to have something to eat. They also had a sign on the entry door that stated it was BYOB, another plus

My first time here and I couldn’t be happier. I was across the street getting new tires and decided to give the place a try while I waited. I ordered a steak burrito and it was amazing. The service was so fast. I will absolutely be coming back!

This place is good! They have very nice staff and their food is always hot and good. They always give you and over abundance of salsa… The meat is cooked very well and there’s not a lot of fatty chunky pieces… Priced well too

I ordered a torta milaneza and a bottled coke. The bread was fresh and the steak tender, but the salsa that was brought out to table didn’t look to tasty. Kinda old looking. Hence the 3 stars.

Love this place. Whenever I go I usually wait no more than 3mins for my food. Staff is really nice. Downside: I can’t stand the parking it fills up pretty quick and you may have to park off to the side.

Great steak-​pork tacos, tortas, burritos, and gorditas. My only concern has been the manner in which they charge. Years ago, I made a comment on google cautioning patrons to check their receipt due to additional charges. Since I posted that comment, the receipts are itemized, but sometimes it doesn’t make any sense.

Well, get the burrito. Damn it.

Just ordered a bean burrito, two tamales, and a Jarrito. They gave me a steak burrito and when I called, no apology or comped food for the inconvenience of driving back. Instead, they treat me like I was taking the order or preparing the food and screwed it up.
The food was average, at best, to begin with. I’ll go to La Playita from now on.

Decided to give Lucky a try after a late movie one night. I’m a big fan of the late night burrito capping off a night of bad decisions, so I’m always on the lookout for a new place to stave off that ever impending hangover. Lucky is 5 minutes from my house so I thought I’d give it a try. It’s in a decent location, and the place itself is fairly clean inside. I got a steak burrito with a side of rice. The burrito was good, about average sized and otherwise no complaints. The rice was ok not the best I’ve had, but not the worst. The service was super quick which is always a plus. I would say the food at Lucky is decent, not the greatest I’ve had. I’ll take an El Famous or TBK any day of the week. But in a pinch it’s certainly not bad.
