Great food with an Irish bent. Service was impeccable. We were seated quickly, served promptly and the waitress was very friendly and attentive. Thin crust pizza was delicious but so was the Bruschetta and pulled pork nachos. We had three children in our group and the hostess and waitress treated them very well from start to finish. We will return again to try the sandwiches and dinners. Oh did I mention the warm chocolate chip cookie? Delicious!!! Five stars for our waitress Belinda.

It’s good pizza! It by no means beats John’s Pizza(the old one from Cal City) but Fox’s, it IS good stuff. Service there is always delightful and it does have that family style vibe.

All I can say is Black man in an irish restaurant what do you think happened? Made me feel like family and honestly it was 1 of the best pizzas I have ever had in my life and for all my people from the hood yes it is going head to head with Italian fiesta… I had sausage, spinach, and mushrooms on my pizza. First Class all the way… p. s. the Irish Nachos were the best I couldn’t finish the small order definitely for 2…

Fox’s is a good, casual place for a quick meal and a brew. There’s quite a variety of tap beer selections. They serve a homemade beef vegetable soup that is packed with veggies, thick, rich and satisfying. I am fond of the corned beef sandwiches, sliced thin and lean, fresh rye bread grilled ’til toasty. Pretty good! They also have good burgers, good fish and chips, a nice Guinness beef stew, and Reuben roll appetizers. Fries are fresh and crisp. Creamy Cole slaw seems house made, good. Waffle fries are a nice option. I haven’t had their pizza for a long time, but I remember it as being ok. Food is served fresh and hot, as it should be. There’s live entertainment on weekends, large self parking lot, service good. It’s mostly an older crowd, and family groups. Lots o’big TVs, mostly tuned to sports. It’s one of those places that I like to return to for the reliably good food and service.

Okay, there’s no 2 ½ stars so this is the best we can offer. The place is clean, nice atmosphere. Service, eh, beer selection, eh, Italian beef… nasty! Dry and served cold. However, a trip to the men’s room and noticed, most everyone in the place was eating pizza… if I ever go back we may try that instead.

Delicious thin crust pizza. Great deal on half-priced Wednesdays(cheese only).

Not a bad lunch spot. While having my car serviced at a dealership a couple of blocks down the street, I decided to check this location out on a whim. Irish themed pub with a good amount of beer choices, as well as pizza and chicken wing choices. I wanted something light, and the food met my expectations. The IPA beer was Chicago-style heavy and hoppy, which is how I liked it. The server was good. Not great, yet good. I know that she had other a party of 12 ladies to deal with at the time, so I gave her a break. It just took a minute to get the check, as well as being somewhat light on the conversation. For some reason, the décor within the pub is more on the dark side, even in siting at the window. No matter. I chilled out, perused social media and had a couple of brews before I received the call that my car was ready to be picked up. Altogether, this is not a bad place to return to while in Oaklawn.

I came here on a Sunday night, and the place was pretty empty. The«live performance» was obviously lip-synced(some of the songs he sang himself; some of them were pre-recorded), but I wouldn’t mind that at all. I came here for the food, right? Garlic Bread with Mozzarella: 1.5÷5 — Definitely one of the worst pieces of garlic bread I have ever had. Not crunchy, not flavorful, and the cheese was falling off the bread. The marinara sauce was bland. Eating the last bites of bread, I was hoping that the pizza would salvage the meal. Family Pizza ½ Veggies + ½ Fox’straditional Special: 2.5÷5 — The cheese was falling off the bread(again). Nothing particularly special about anything. Just the standard pizza with mediocre ingredients and flavor. Won’t be back.

Food was good but stuff seems to be un– attentive to customers. Of course this does not fit the bill for a restaurant if I wanted that I would just order pizza and have it delivered to my house.

Pizza was some of the best my boyfriend and I have had in Oak Lawn. The staff was a bit slow especially for having 3 tables and many people working there. I do recommend the Ruben bites. They were different but delicious!

I went here for pizza and used the gift card I had from there. We ordered the waffle fries and two pizzas. The first pizza was a cheese and the other one was a meat pizza. I forgot the name of the meat pizza. The service was good. Nice and friendly people. When I got the pizza, everything was correctly ordered. The pizza was a little cold on the top of the pizza, but warm on the bottom. The pizza had good flavor to it, and it tasted good too. When I got the waffle fries, they were warm. The cheese tasted good on the waffle fries. The waffle fries were a little greasy, but had great flavor! I had a good experience, but the pizza needs to be warmer during delivery like they do in the restaurant. I will come back.

Once again this establishment is a tired little business. After experiencing the Orland Park location we made the trek to Oak Lawn last Christmas Eve hoping for a better experience. And once again had terrible terrible service and over priced poorly prepared food. Terribly loud atmosphere music wise and you could not even hear yourself talk. And a lot of the patrons who I assume are regulars are the most obnoxious people ever with their ethnic jokes about German and Polish people and management did not even attempt to stop it. My young daughter was frightened by a table of what were a bunch of drunken firemen or cops. Never again will I patronize this business.

Bad food, poor kitchen service, horrible management, great waitress. The Reuben rolls were awesome though…

An incidental fire plug with a guitar and a box of wigs might be the only thing to bring me back to this family friendly — slightly over-priced pizza restaurant. The service was good — not great — but adequate. Our server was fair — she wasn’t in a hurry — but she was okay. The food wasn’t great. We got a veggie pizza which was not crisp and the veggies were canned. The worst culinary insult in the world — to me — is to serve canned veggies on a pizza. It is akin to taking a Sharpie to the Mona Lisa. If you are too lazy to prep fresh vegetables then don’t make a «veggie pizza.» Also the lure — for me — of a thin crust pizza — is the crispness. This pizza was soggy. Part of the reason you NEVER use canned vegetables is they result in a soggy pizza. The only pizza this place offers is thin — so they really need to get it right. The prices are a little out of line with the neighborhood — and the quality of the pizza. That neighborhood — and for that pizza –I think I overpaid by about $ 10.00. Now the reason I will go back is this guy who is a one-man band who plays everything from Elvis to Carley Rae Jepsen. He has the bass and drums going through a computer and into the sound system and he plays the guitar. He has a collection of wigs and funny hats that go with the song(including a faux-afro for his James Brown song). He looks like a cross between a fire-plug and a roll-on deodorant. We are taught disdain for these guys because they are so corny with the cheesey arrangements and the treacle happy birthday dedications. We are led to believe these guys aren’t «cool.» This guy(Carl Anthony) was having so much fun and singing his heart out — that I didn’t mind sticking around until he finished his first set. If liking his show is wrong — i don’t want to be right. I’ll go back and try a beef sandwich — maybe a burger — but only if the fireplug is in the house. Other than him — and the surprising song choices and crazy wigs — there is no reason to go back there. Not in that neighborhood — not at those prices.

Foxs is a great Oak Lawn establishment and I have been going there since I was a kid. They have some of the best thin crust pizza around Chicagoland and it is always consistently good. Their ribs are fall off the bone delicious with a great sauce. Thursday through Sunday they have live music and Dan McGuinness was our entertainer on this past Sunday night and he had us singing along with Sweet Caroline and Hello, Mary Lou and CCR covers that we didn’t want to leave. They have a great beer selection too. Always so happy to see Lagunitas on tap. The atmosphere at Foxs is great too. Even people at other tables seem like old friends when you come here. This place is good for large groups or couples. The service is attentive and you will have a great time here if you go. Keep up the good work.

I came here with my boyfriend on Monday because they had half off the entire menu. Our waitress was nice but we had to keep asking her to refill our drinks. I ordered a burger and my boyfriend had a steak. He said his was really great I thought my food was ok. I think it was worth it at the ½ off price but not at full price.

Stopped in here for lunch since we were in the area. Steak Quesadilla — Pretty good, but a bit too much onions. Fox’s Traditional Special — It came out too well done. My guy said he liked the taste of the sausage, but I’ve had better. A bit too much onions on this too. I’m also not a fan of the cheese on top of the ingredients type pizza. Waitress was nice though. I saw another couples pizza and there’s look very good(not burnt).

I can’t believe I’ve never reviewed Fox’s. I have been coming here for years! I don’t think I have ever been disappointed in a meal here. The prices are great and they usually have a different special each night. I believe Wednesday is half price pizza night. I’ve dined in, ordered delivery and pick up. I also catered a small Birthday party once and they handled everything very well. My favorites are the pizza and fettuccine alfredo with chicken(get the small portion from the value menu). When they get crowded the service tends to be a little spotty.
