Fantastic Sam’s

My family and I have been customers at this salon for over 25 years. They are always friendly, kind and very professional. Our haircuts are always perfect. Also the shop is always immaculate and decorated so nice. All the stylists are so kind especially Theresa.

Went there a about a month ago. I live in the area. I was watching my expenses at the time but needed a haircut and highlight badly. I planned to spend around $ 60 since I had it done there before for around $ 50. There was a sweet younger girl getting ready to do my hair but seemed unsure of pricing. She asked the other lady who was working there and this person insisted that two highlight colors would cost me $ 115.00 not including the haircut? What??? Plus, I have fine, short hair which takes less time to do than average hair. I tried to reason with her telling her I had a haircut and highlight not too long ago for around $ 50 but she would not listen to me. I just got up and left even though I was already in the chair. I ended up getting a beautiful highlight, lowlight, haircut and style by a hair salon nearby that cost me $ 70. Found that salon through Unilocal reviews. So glad I did not stay and will never go back.

Honestly I hate getting my hair cut at certain places, but I am cheap so I was looking for something other than great clips. I decided to try Fantastic Sams because they had a product for my hair that I wanted. The lady was super nice, but very quick and rushed. She got hair everywhere in my bag, and didn’t even brush my neck off. it took her like 5 minutes to do my hair (it ended up looking fine) but it just felt very rushed and I didn’t like the fact that she got hair all over me including chunks in my bag. Maybe she was rushed but I don’t think I will be back. Still a little more expensive than great clips, and not worth the extra money

I hate this place. They do horrible jobs on cutting hair. I got my eyebrows done and one eye was wax off almost completely to no eye brow. The crew is unfriendly and they talk behind the customer backs. Never go here again. I tried 4 times to give the place a chance and no thanks!!!

I would give this one lady 4.5 stars but she doesn’t represent the whole team. She quit a while back. Price was cheap for her skills and how she understands what you want. Everyone else there does a basic job. It doesn’t look good and they’re lazy at thinning out my hair. I gave my lady a great tip because she did such a fantastic job. This place is a place for a men’s haircut since their hair is so easy to cut. Don’t go here.
I’ve also seen updos and curls done here… TACKY. I can do better! I actually know how to work the iron without a license.
