The sign reads Jumbo and they mean it. Biggest most tasty burrito I’ve had. Friendly employees, good service. You get in line and you have a ton of choices in items to pile on your burrito. Its no way I can eat a whole one in one sitting. Place is clean, tables inside only. Its small inside so you might shy away if its huge lines. If you’re island hopping in Washington State its well worth a stop to eat.

I returned for the tacos and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered al pastor and adobada tacos and they were pretty good. I will return for the tacos and maybe try a few more things on the menu. Service was quick and polite and the cost is reasonable.

A bit on the expensive side but very, VERY well worth it considering that they’re located on Whidbey island in the northwest with nothing more than Taco Bell and Taco Time in site. The food is fresh and the portions are more than enough! Make sure you try the chile colorado and chile verde two of my favorites: P I was only in the area for 3 days and I ate there twice; today is Weds 17-JUN-15 and I go back to Oak Harbor on 1-JUL-15… Guess where I’ll be eating?

This place has potential, unfortunately every time I’ve been there I feel like I’ve been slighted by the service. Today, 3 guys in front of me got the shredded cheese blend in their burritos, I asked for cheese and got the white powder stuff bc another employee had taken the shredded cheese to make a quesadilla. I don’t know if the guys ahead of me just got lucky or if the employee was being lazy and didn’t want to go get the shredded cheese for me. Also, I got 2 hot sauces from the bar. The mild green wasn’t too bad but the hot red was not very tasty, it was just hot, oh and neither one tasted like the last time I had tried them. I understand a hot sauce made in house will probably very in taste and hotness, but it should remotely resemble the flavor. I find the junior burrito is plenty big for more than one meal, the jumbo is just ridiculous and over priced if you’re not getting meat on it. Their menu lacks vegetarian options/prices.

I was born and raised in Arizona, and miss the food terribly. Specifically the carne asada burros. We drove through town, stopped in, and this place made me want to move to Oak Harbor simply to be within driving distance. It’s like Subway, for burritos. But holy cow is it good. Everything is super super fresh, and super authentic. The only thing missing from the authenticity is the lack of lengua(beef tongue) on the huge menu list of meats you can choose from. They don’t charge extra for guacamole. The salsa is crazy hot, with mild options as well. Real tortillas. Yes, REALTORTILLAS. Simply delicious burritos bigger than your head. Be there or be square.

Really good Mexican food. My favorite is the beef tacos. Well seasoned and hits the spot each time. Probably the best Mexican in Oak Harbor.

the meat was cheap and tasted like it. everything was under seasoned and bland at best. pico had no flavor and the guacamole tasted old so I had to send it back. everything was greasy. we will not be returning. so disapointing

A great place for some good food. I went at 6pm on a Saturday night(relatively peak time for Oak Harbor) and the line was intimidating. It went pretty quick and I was surprised how high quality the ingredients were considering the low key atmosphere. I have a pretty big appetite and I got the Jumbo Jr and it was more than I could eat. I think this will be a regular place of mine. Just wish I could have a beer with my burrito!

Since moving to Whidbey from CA, we have been craving and searching for authentic Mexican food that is the caliber that we were used to getting in CA! As most people will tell you, you just can’t find that kind of Mexican food on Whidbey Island. Thankfully, that is no longer the case! As far as we are concerned, this place is the answer to what we’ve been looking for. Three in our family tried the burrito. Our son ordered the jumbo with chipotle shredded chicken. It was honestly the size of a small baby – Ginormous! Most importantly, it tasted amazing. I ordered the jr. jumbo with Pork Chile Verde. The young gentleman taking my order asked how well I liked spicy food, because the Pork Chile Verde, tastes fantastic, but was definitely quite spicy. When I told him I thought I’d be okay, he kindly insisted on giving me a taste sample, first. Seriously? What kind of place does this? I was so impressed. The sample consisted of a plate with freshly made chips and Pork Chile Verde poured over the top. I will tell you that he was absolutely correct. The flavor is amazing, and the heat and back burn is definitely there, so that is what I had them put in my jr. burrito. I also realized that the home-made chips are fantastic and I’ll be considering a nacho order on my next trip. I had no regrets with my Pork Chile Verde Jr Burrito – delicious! Now, a jr is not the size of a jumbo, but it is still a hefty size and I had difficulty finishing it. While waiting in line we chatted with a college student who has tried all but two items on their menu and he recommended literally everything. We can’t wait to go back and try more things off the menu. While we would have given this place 5 stars just for the quality and taste of the food, I want to add that the family who runs this place is so amazingly pleasant and gracious and they make you feel so welcome. Yaaaay for Taqueria Jumbo Burrito. It’s about time, Whidbey Island, it’s about time!

This place is a diamond in the rough. The food is AMAZING and very authentic. The family was welcoming and made all the food with a smile. Small but I think everyone in this cozy city is here. I cant even tell you to try one thing, it is all great. See you there.

This place is amazeballs!!! Quick service. Burritos the size of a baby cow and not to mention tastier than a Klondike bar on a hot summer day. Chicken tacos are where it’s at

Just as good as the truck! Service was fast and friendly. They were sweet enough to make my daughter a bean rice and cheese burrito which isn’t on the menu. I had three tacos and they were amazing, exactly what I was craving.
