Nice place to hang out with friends. All though even on Wednesday it was quite busy, so sure we had to wait bit longer for the service, but server was nice and attentive. Good addition in oak creek

If you’re thinking«Oh, maybe we should try the new Water Street Brewery in town,» DON’T DOIT!. If I can save even 1 person from attending this forgettable place I will be a happy man. Now that is a little harsh but this place is simply not worth your time(and I hope you have a lot of it since wait times here are outrageous) or money. WSB looks like gold from the outside– cool new look, fresh lot, evident brewery drums(or whatever they are called)– but trust me in saying that all that glitters is not gold. Food is the epitome of average with slightly above average cost. That’s a bad combo to me. Some of the worst service I have ever seen. As mentioned, wait times are ridiculous, you literally have to flag someone down anytime you need anything. I seriously wonder what and where the servers could be going/doing for such long gaps that they are not on the floor serving their customers(ME!) I could go on but I think you get the point. You will either try this place out anyway and mostly likely feel the same way I do after, or LOOKELSEWHERE.

Do not come here hungry. The service is incredibly slow. Most of the servers appear to spend their time standing around the bar socializing. It was 15 minutes from the time we sat down until we were even acknowledged by our server. Our drink order took another 10 mins. The food, once we got it was ok. Nothing write home about. If you have a lot of time to kill then maybe this is your place. If you don’t have 3 hours for a meal then drive past. P. S. As I was writing this review we were patiently waiting for our server to come with our check. After another 20 minutes(yes, 20 mins) we asked another sever to get a manager for us. Doesn’t appear there is a manager on site. Finally, our server walked by and we just gave him our card and told him to close the check. They really need to get it together. The place is not even 1⁄3rd full.

Expensive mediocrity best describes water street brewery. I’ve been here 3 times now and the 3rd and final still was not the charm. I’ve had cold food, a bloody made with 0 seasoning, lemon or lime(it was Clamato and vodka) and an expensive plate of dry chicken nachos. The people are fine and the beer is decent. You can get cheaper beer and mediocre food right down the road at other places like bdubs.

I enjoyed the décor and there was no wait on a Sunday for brunch. The food was good. Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. I’d go back if I was in the area.

The food was a huge disappointment. The restaurant was recommended by the hotel staff so I expected more. I tried the crab cakes first and sent them back. I ordered a burger for my entrée and was not impressed at all. My server was very nice and made sure to check on me and offered to take the crab cakes off. The restaurant itself is nice but seems like the best thing going may be the beer…

After driving past this place numerous times, my husband and I decided to finally check them out. We came in on a Monday night. Things weren’t terribly busy, so we were able to be seated right away. Our server greeted us promptly, and was very nice. The bar and the dining areas are both spacious. There are televisions throughout the place, so you should have no problem catching the latest news or sporting events. In addition to a full bar, Water Street Brewery also makes their own craft beers. I had the Raspberry Weiss, and found it to be very refreshing. Not too sweet, and not too tart. We started out with an appetizer of the mozzarella marinara. The sticks are wrapped in wonton, and are a decent size. The marinara sauce is flavorful. For my meal, I had the Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna Sandwich. It is seared rare, covered in sesame seeds, and served with lettuce, pickled cucumbers, sprouts, and tomato. It also comes with a spicy red eye aioli sauce. I was able to order the sandwich without the veggies, and it was AMAZING! The sauce does have a bit of kick to it, but is otherwise delicious. With the sandwiches, you get a choice of chips or fries. I opted for the fries. I have to admit, the fries were a bit disappointing. They didn’t seem to have much flavor, and were lukewarm at best when they were brought out. One thing that I would suggest is offering cottage cheese as a side option. If I had that option, I would have definitely gone for that. Overall, our experience here was good, and we would definitely come back again.

My wife and I decided to check them out. We have been to some of their other locations. We arrived at approximately 6:30 p.m. The restaurant was not busy at all, not surprising for a Monday evening. The waiter we had was very nice, no complaints there. He was very attentive and quick at refilling drinks. I had their Club sandwich, with an addition and one subtraction. The tomato of course… I was given the option of chips or fries. I almost by instinct chose the fries. It didn’t take long for our order to arrive. My only disappointment was with those very fries. They weren’t very hot, no fault of the waiter. They are just cut very thin and lose their heat quickly. My suggestion is to go to a seasoned fry or a waffle fry. The fries served just don’t cut it.

I called to make sure that they were still serving food and the woman who answered said«Yes our kitchen closes at 11!» I arrived with my friend at 10:10 just to be greeted with a «Our kitchen is closed, we close it 30 minutes before we actually close» I told her that I just called and the lady I spoke with said that they close at 11 and she responded back with«Well I don’t know who you talked to(in a snotty voice) but you can go to Buffalo Wild Wings down the road!» Thank you for referring your business to a different restaurant.

Went to Water Street Brewery in Oak Creek tonight and it was a huge failure. The hostess said the wait was 10 – 15 min, when it was actually about a half hour. Took almost an hour to get our food, the waitress was insane. She complained that she had 7 tables, brought us cold food, forgot almost everything we asked for, and continued to explain to us that they were busy and the fact that we were young made it easier for her to half-ass our dining experience. Please don’t go there. Don’t waste your time.

This location is nothing close to the downtown location. The 23 yr old guy working the bar(Julian?) is a horrible service person. He is more interested in flirting and talking to the female workers and his female friends coming in than people actually paying to eat and drink. It took him forever, like 20 mins, to take my card to cash out my bill yet he rushed me through my burger so he could get back to talking to his co-workers. Total flake. For a $ 14 burger, I’m not into being rushed. Also, no one even noticed that I left even though there was maybe 5 other couples in the whole place. Steer clear. Spend your money elsewhere.

I have been here several times and the food is consistently OK. Nothing great, nothing horrible. I like the fact that they have a Saturday Brunch. That is very unique for this area. The building is new so they are very wheelchair accessible. Service is friendly and reasonably quick. Possibly the biggest negative is how loud this place is. When we sit on the Howell Avenue side, we need to yell to hear each other.

This place is nothing special. My burger was average. It took forever to get the bill and only because I asked. I don’t have any plans of returning in the future.

Review #2. Sure customer service is nice. They have some pleasant young people working here. Food & Execution? A miss again. The poutine came out cold, the cheese already hardened & molded like the shape of the food vessel. They were the scrawniest of fries which didn’t help that they were already cold. Thicker fries would suit the dish better. The«gravy» was salty and not a major presence on the plate as you’d think it should be for poutine. The side salad had lettuce, diced tomato, rings of raw red onion, croûton & shredded Parmesan cheese — kinda weird cheese choice for a garden house salad(wasn’t a Ceasar). My friend’s food was also cold when it arrived and missing the bacon. We came here because of the location, there’s not many good places to meet in the Franklin-Oak Creek area. It’s a fine place for meeting for drinks in a huge building that’s brand new. But that’s what it’s best at.

My sister and I stopped in last Saturday for lunch. This was my first time venturing out into the world after being pregnant for what felt like a year, and all this mama wanted was a cocktail. I ordered my first post baby drink — a Moscow mule — and it definitely lived up to my high expectations. It was served in the classic copper cup and pretty strong. My sister got the pear mule and she was a fan of that as well. We ordered the poutine and brewtons to start. Our server took our app order with our drinks, and then came back(without our drinks) to ask if we’d like food. Uhm. sure the food we just ordered please? Overall she was pretty spacey during our whole visit. As for the food the brewtons were fantastic, but I could live without the poutine. The sauce was over powering and the cheese curds were cold and hardened on top. In their defense this was my first time having poutine so maybe I’m just not a fan. After catching up for a bit we ordered one more round of drinks, and the short rib sandwich to share. It’s days later and if I wasn’t trying to train myself to not eat like a pregnant lady I would’ve ordered this numerous times. The short ribs were melt in your mouth! Seriously the best I’ve ever had! And the horseradish cream sauce was everything. The chips it came with were also delicious — my favorite were the beet. When we went to pay for the bill the server brought back my sister’s card without a receipt to sign. She then disappeared for 20 minutes. This confused me? I wasn’t sure if she forgot to charge us or what went on. We finally flagged her down and she took the book(card and all) and came back with a receipt. On our way out no one said bye, and after our experience with our server I just got the vibe that majority of the staff doesn’t really care to be there. I will definitely go back for the food and drinks though.

Pros. we went on a Saturday night. Very busy at 530 but we sat right down with a party of 7. Had 3 kids and the coloring book and crayons they provide was a nice touch. Waitress was nice. Kid pizza was large and tasty per the kids. Nice décor. Pretty bathrooms. Booth feels private in how they are designed. Food was ok except where noted below. Cons. No drinks included with kid menu. We didn’t realize this. Haven’t seen this too often in my 10 yrs of being a mom. My $ 12 grilled chicken salad was made with iceberg lettuce. .yuck. My mil reported the bread on her patty melt was soggy. Prices high. When we left around 630 there was a large amount of people waiting to sit. Beware of large sat night crowds

Monday evening. Snowing. 5 people at the bar total including us. As someone who was in the food service industry for a while followed up by sales I’ll say this… Appreciate every dollar that comes in! It’s a slow Monday night! Up sell, talk, make suggestions! Especially when someone openly says it’s the first time there. Our bartender was beyond inattentive. We waited 10 – 15 minutes to order a drink AFTER he hesitated and rolled his eyes when I wanted to sample a beer on tap before ordering.(Advice: You brew your own beer. People haven’t had it before. Aka give them a sample when they ask for it) Guess what? I ordered another micro brew bottle instead. «How are your first few bites?» Ya never happened. Kitchen forgot sauce on $ 14 sandwich. No big deal except there were maybe 10 people total in the place. I mean come on… I asked for the check and bartender rolled his eyes then never gave it to me. I had to ask a second time. While this was happening bar staff was playing hip hop with F-Bombs being dropped. I don’t care, but a good amount of their clientele will. Food was above par for the area(spare rib sandwich was very good) and décor was cool. Only reason for the two star review. Apparently they don’t want my hard earned money so it’s unlikely I’ll be back. Good location and cool building, but time to start hiring bartenders and staff who have experience outside of Bobs Corner Inn or Subway.

We have been here 5+ times. I’m surprised to see so many negative reviews, we have never had bad service. Most times we sit at the bar and are typically in on a Saturday night. We have never had to wait for more than 5 minutes at the bar, and have had great food each time. I love the Philly with the jalapeño cheese sauce. My wife is a sucker for the raspberry Weiss beer. I’ve gotten the flight each time, and really enjoy all of the beers. I think that they had some learning curves with it being a new establishment. I’m not sure where you would want to put an entrance in other than where they have it, I’m sure there’s some zoning issues with it being right on the corner of an extremely busy intersection. We have also checked them out at Zoo A La Carte, and have been very happy with their quality of food supplied there.

My advice: Don’t bother. I was excited to try out this Water Street Brewery location, but really disappointed when I finally visited. First, it’s confusing and difficult to find the parking lot. Second, the parking lot always seems packed even when the restaurant isn’t busy at all. My friends and I joked that they must be paying people to park in the lot so the restaurant seems busy. My friend made reservations since we had a large group. She called about an hour before the reservation to confirm. I was the first to arrive and discover they had no record of a reservation. I was told there was a 20-minute wait and then, 2 minutes later, lead into a virtually empty dining room. I ordered a jalapeño margarita. A risky choice, but I had to send it back — it was sooooo bad! I also ordered an appetizer(a won ton dish), and it was really just kind of mediocre. I tried a piece of one of my friend’s quesadillas and it was equally blah. About an hour before closing, our waitress started handing out our bills, even though we hadn’t asked for our bills and we weren’t ready to leave. Apparently, she thought we had been there too long. She pretty much ensured there’s no chance I’ll return to this Water Street Brewery location.

Oh man, it’s way too loud in this place. My throat is sore from having to talk loud enough to have a conversation. This place is huge inside with ample outdoor seating as well. When I drove up and saw the huge parking lot packed with cars I was worried, but there was less than a 10 minute wait for a table. I saw plenty of bar seating as well as booths and tables. The smaller ones seat four but would be tight. Also, the seats are more comfortable than they look. Our waitress was really friendly and on top of things. She was never too far and keen to notice when it was time for refills. The menus are unique here and look like newspapers. Aside from the menu there are a few small articles about the brewery and brewing in general. I wish I had asked to keep the menu longer so I could read it. As for the food, there is a nice selection of appetizers, sandwiches, drinks and entrees. While I liked my food(beef pot pie) I did find it under seasoned for my taste. It was well cooked and not too hot. Some of the beef pieces were mostly fat, but I can overlook that. It happens. I’d come back again, but maybe for lunch or during a slower time so I can relax while I eat. Seriously, the noise was almost deafening here. I couldn’t even make out what song was playing at any point during the visit.
