Wood Bakery

How can you go wrong with some classic good olé woods bakery donuts and a ski or chocolate milk… Or a strawberry milk! Yeah they may not be anything extravagant when it comes to the donut industry but I’ll tell you what they sure do feel my stomach with goodness. And to there customer service if I had to be up as early as they are in the morning to serve someone like me that got a good nights rest I would be that way too. hell they deliver in multiple counties for a O’Fallon Illinois small time bakery so I’d say they’re doing a pretty damn good job in my book keep it up!!!
P. s. donuts are the ones with the holes in them

My wife surprised us this morning with donuts that were really good. The blueberry donuts were my favorite as they aren’t too sweet and have a great dense, moist texture. The crullers (tractor tires) are very good as well.
We will be going back for more since they are better than Krispy Kreme. It’s always better to support the mom and pop businesses so if you haven’t tried Wood Bakery, skip the big guys and be surprised.

Okay. Not a must. Pretty pricey.

We come here almost every Saturday for the blueberry donut holes — they are amazing! We also love the cream cheese Danishes:) I recommend calling ahead if there is something specific you want as they make certain donuts on certain days. You can also call your order in which is useful as they sell out of the blueberry quick on Saturdays:)

Woods Bakery made our daughter’s wedding cake and 10 sheet cakes for last Saturday’s wedding. They have a variety of cakes and fillings from which to choose. All night, people were asking me who make the cake as it was so moist and delicious! I was expecting to take home leftovers to enjoy but found out that every last piece of cake was eaten, and I had even over purchased so that I would have leftovers. No leftovers is a sign of a good product.
Also, Jen was wonderful in getting my detailed order correct and everything was delivered exactly as ordered. Their prices are excellent also. I highly recommend this bakery to anyone planning a wedding. I just wish I lived closer to the bakery, although my waist probably is grateful. :)

This is a cute little bakery. Not that great of a selection but good donuts and cookies. Very affordable prices. I’m giving it 3 stars because of the customer service. We were one of only two customers and felt extremely rushed and like we were in the way. Will probably return to see if the service is the same the second time around.

Phenomenal baked goods at reasonable price.

The selection of baked goods here is adequate, and the prices seem reasonable. It doesn’t appear, from the few visits I’ve made, that specialty cakes and breads are their forte. They do most often, have a great assortment of cookies, pastries, and good old fashioned doughnuts! A word of caution though; if you walk into this bakery late in the morning (close to noon), availability of most items is extremely limited!
As for quality… nothing I’ve ever purchased at Wood’s stands out as downright delicious. Most of the baked goods I’ve had from there are good… just not great. That said, one thing in this bakery that truly lacks, is customer service. I have NEVER walked out of Wood’s Bakery feeling as though my patronage mattered a single bit to them! I always feel like their attitude is… hey, when you know what you want, I’ll be right over here, come get me! There are other bakeries in the area that are worth the extra drive.

I’ve literally been eating these donuts since before I could talk. I was raised eating the classic glazed donuts dunked in coffee, but I will eat any donut or pastry they make. Be sure to try the peanut squares, gooey butter cake, and peanut coffee cake. They’re all winners!

This place is a definite dive little bakery. They have really cheap stuff. I wasn’t a fan of the cheesecake. It seemed really dry tasting. However all donuts and cookies are good. Especially their red-​velvet cake.

my wife loves this place and i have gone to them before for my nephew’s birthday party last year. my only suggestion is to realize that a whole sheet cake is HUUUUGE! Ask for serving sizes because we got a full sheet cake and though the price was great (very good!) we didn’t even need a third of the cake. But it was great and people had cake to take home. And it was decorated well and the taste was awesome!

Very delicious baked goods, you won’t be dissapointed. Try the peanut coffee cake!
