I visited the Falls for the first time on Saturday and it turned out to be a pleasant experience. When I arrived in the wee hours of 9 a.m. I was greeted with a cart at the car… nice touch as I didn’t want to labor in the sub-zero temps of 45 ° degrees for too long. The first surprise and main reason for a four was the range is across the street and only accessible by car so I had to unload my clubs all while fearing frostbite to cross the street to hit balls for warmth. The course was was in surprisingly condition and well maintained with great greens and challenging layouts. The course was rather empty except for the two guys I got stuck behind on 14 who together burned 1000 calories from running to get more balls to hit from the tee after losing the first 20… literally… time for a new sport guys. Overall, worth a return trip.

Like one other review mentioned, they weren’t very helpful on the phone but at least didn’t hang up on me. Kind of rude. Big red flag: NOCONCEALEDCARRYFIREARMSALLOWED sign on the front door. Might as well have it translated: «Feel free to rob us because we deal in cash and no one will stop you.» I prefer not to do business with people that undermine my 2nd Amendment rights. Too bad his sign is unenforceable in MO and I carried my gun on my hip right past it. It just ensures I can sue him if a crime occurs and I can’t protect myself adequately. Now onto the quality of the batting cages. 2⁄5 were out of order. The ones we used I had to keep going out to the hopper and fixing them myself. It seems they were severely undermaintained and the balls would preferentially go into the shoot for the one we weren’t using so we would run out of balls midsession. $ 10 for 12 coins, barely worth it. The free bats were falling apart, grips tore up my hands. I did not use any golf services but I happened to ask if they have demo clubs for the driving range. They basically had a trash can full of nasty looking beat up clubs. I would hope a driving range would have a little better clubs for me to practice with. I won’t go back, drive up the street somewhere where they want business.

The manager Brad is a compete imbecile. I called up there to add if the batting cages were appropriate for my young son. He said«we have an outside» and rudely hung up the phone. You would think as a manager he should have some sort of manners. Absolutely distrusted by the behavior.

I’ve always been a fan of the Falls, especially the back 9. I love the abundance of waterfalls on the course. It makes it feel much more exotic than it really is. They have specials on , and I recently played 18 holes for 28 bucks. They also have 2 dollar shock tops on Sundays, which made the round that much better! This is definitely in my top 5 courses in the St. Charles/O’Fallon area.
