The worst Mcd I have ever been to and I’ve been to plenty. Took over 45 min to get my order. The chick at the register was just about the dumbest I have seen. Was screwing up every order! To top it off, after waiting 45 min, my order was screwed up!

Unquestionably the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever stepped foot in! Terrible service; rude employees; and just a total lack of professionalism! No adult supervision! The place is being run by high school kids! If there was a manager on duty, they sure weren’t anywhere to be seen!!! I stood at the counter for five minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge me and take my order. I was the only customer in the place and there was no traffic in the drive-thru! At least four employees walked by me… looked right at me, and just went about their business of carrying on and laughing and chatting with fellow employees. I heard the«F» bomb dropped at least three times! This type of behavior is so unacceptable for a family eating establishment! Again, if there was a manager there, they were nowhere to be seen! Are there standards of conduct for McDonald’s employees? The dispenser was out of straws, so I asked a young lady on the counter for a straw. Her response was, «Huh?». If my children ever responded like this to an adult, let alone a customer, they’d get an earful from me about manners and respect at the very least! The food I received was cold. I had two McRibs. One was saturated in BBQ sauce, literally dripping off the sandwich and splattered all over the box it came in. The other had a small amount of sauce, but by every measure, it was fairly dry! Where’s the standardization??? My wife’s Double Quarter Pounder was cold and dry. Won’t ever be back to this McDonald’s! The only reason I’m giving them a star is because the dining area was relatively clean. No doubt, driven by the collocated Moto-Mart gas station! Save yourself the aggravation, and drive a few miles further down the road to the O’Fallon McDonald’s!

so… I have tried to order a fish filet at this location 3 times. All 3 times, the fish was cold. Not warm, not room temp, but actually *cold*. So I stopped eating lunch/dinner there. But I love egg & cheese breakfast sandwiches, so I still occasioned this location for that, since they seemed to be able to get it right. However, today, I arrived at 10:10 by my watch, my cell, someone else’s cell, & the bank sign nearby. When I walked in, their clocks were 15 minutes ahead of everyone else. No problem, I asked if breakfast was still available, they said yes. I ordered my usual egg & cheese on a muffin. I got my sandwich, opened it up, & there to my disdain, lay a piece of «canadian bacon.» Well, there is a perfectly good reason I don’t eat this meat, & pulling it off the sandwich & eating it is just not an option. So, we go back up to the counter, where they inform me they cannot replace it, as they have no more muffins ready, they offered to take my money instead, for something on the lunch menu, which I clearly did not want. So I told them no, I did not want their lunch menu items. They refunded me for the sandwich only(I originally ordered a «value» meal). Now, here’s my problem: any good manager at places like McDonald’s will«go the extra mile» to make a customer happy, i.e. *getting* a muffin out of the back, & preparing another sandwich OR refunding the entire meal as an apology for the incorrectly made order. I realize it’s not a requirement, but if you want my business, when you screw up, you will do something that makes me feel like you want to turn the mistake of your people into an opportunity to show your magnanimous desire to keep business. I’ve worked in the service industries, & on the rare occasions that I screwed up(yes, here I admit to complete understanding of what I expect from others is what I would do myself), I went out of my way to make sure the person to whom I screwed up knew that I was genuinely sorry & willing to make it right somehow. You won’t get that here.
