So what to do with those games that you have beat or just plain grown tired of and will never play again? Why not sell them to Game Stop and put that money towards a new or used game. Sounds like a pretty easy and painless way to get something out of your old games, which it is. Now, if I had the time or desire I could have made more money on all the games I traded in selling them individually on a site like eBay or Craigslist, but to be honest I didn’t really have desire to invest all that time to get a few more bucks out of my games.
They have a decent selection of used games, some are priced pretty good, while others are just a few dollars less than what the brand new game costs. I don’t really understand this, as I would never pay $ 5 for a used game over a new game, especially when you are spending $ 40+ on a game. That all being said, the staff was very friendly and helpful. He took my stack of games and started entering them into their computer while my son and I browsed their selection of used games. After we made our choices we returned to the counter where he had all my games rang up and a total that they would offer me for them. The used games I bought were all in good condition with no scratches that will affect their playability. In under 20 minutes, we were in and out and on our way.
