Cecil Whittaker’s Pizzeria

I don’t care what they say, I have a mad crush on Cecil’s pizza and wings. The family meal deal is the way to go. It’s a coupon that’s been cemented onto the laminated menu and consists of 2 extra large 2 topping pizzas, family sized salad (it’s super plain, provel, mozz, olives, peppercini, red onions), and cheesy bread. I like the ranch dressing they have… some might not… it has a very thinned out consistency… it’s not thick at all. My wife LOVE’S the Italian dressing. Although Cecil’s delivers I usually opt for take out… and even on busy nights they can typically have my order ready within 10 – 15 minutes. What I can remember dining inside, it feels really divey/​sporty nostalgic. Cheap dining ware, friendly high schoolish staff, serving up hot food. Who can ask for more. They keep it simple. The food is good… I’ve just never had a terrible experience here. I grew up eating Cecil’s over Imo’s…it’s better. It’s the simple, satisfying, St. Louis Style Pizza that I know and love!
