Long Island Drum Center

I’ve been going to Long Island drum center in Nyack for a few years. I’m a peculiar sort in that I’m not a drummer, but a bassist. I built a home recording studio and needed a complete drum kit. I work in Rockland county and im not far from Long Island drum center. When I met Frank I explained what I was doing and what I needed. He was beyond patient with my silly questions and made a lot of good suggestions. After a few months, I decided to go with a very high end kit. The only problem was how to make it work for my budget. Frank completely floored me because he made me a deal I couldn’t refuse. Since purchasing my Pearl Reference kit, i was able to special order a rack Tom and snare that matches the kit. I will continue to buy any drum related item from Frank and would recommend anyone, whether novice or professional, to do business with him.

This place blows any guitar center away, as far as drumming needs. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They have a big selection of both new and used gear. I come here for all my drumming related supplies.

This place is FUN. I don’t know a ton about drums, I mainly play the bongos and djembe, which this smallish shop has a decent selection of. I liked trying out the larger ones as well as the non wood ones. And it was fun to bang on the cymbals and ‘regular’ drums as well!

Wow, a cool drum center in Nyack, NY. A must for any drummer to check out. They have a slew of Zildjian and Paiste cymbals as well as most hardware and drum sets as well as electronic gear. They seem to be very knowledgeable as well. They urge you to try things out as well. Go ahead, bang your brains out ;)
