Gone With the Wings

Been ordering here from years. Never disappointed, they got one of the best quesadillas I have ever tasted. The tenders and wraps are excellent as well. Very fairly priced, usually between 16 – 20 dollars for two people. Overall, great spot for a quick lunch/​dinner.

The only reason they got two stars is because the food is good. No matter what it is, I’m always satisfied with the taste. Other than that, every single time I’ve ever ordered food here, whether it was by phone for pick up or delivery, it has been wrong. The previous time we ordered, they completely missed one of our guests entrees, and when we had to go back a second time to get it (we don’t live in town), the man still charged us full price for the entrée even though it was there issue for forgetting about it. That not being enough, we ordered again today and another entrée was completely wrong. To top it off, every time we call to tell them about an issue, the man on the phone always blames us, saying we didn’t tell him the order right and it was our mistake. Long story short, the foods good, but expect a headache.

One of the best places around town. I have been coming here since high school, and will continue to come back for years and years and years to come. For 15 plus years gone with the wings (GWTW) has been a staple between my friends and I. They deliver and have the CC swiper with them! You guys are he chickens cluck!

Love their wings… they’ve got a real nice kick. leaves tears in my eyes! We order 30 wings about 3 times a month on Sundays…
If you order the sauce on the side, the wings come out soo crispy!

You can see into the kitchen from the sitting area. NO ONE WAS WEARING GLOVES. I literally watched a kid (with his bare hands) grab celery without gloves and wrap it in foil. Calling the health department.

I’m surprised by all the negative reviews written about this place. I have always thought the food here was fairly fresh and well-​prepared. I have been here a handful of times and always get the same thing. I order the chicken quesadilla, sometimes with an order of fries. The chicken quesadilla tastes really fresh and it is HUGE! It’s a really good value for the money. They also give you sour cream and salsa to go with it. My only complaint is that the fries are a little greasy-​tasting, meaning, I’m not too sure how fresh the frying oil they use may be. Gone With the Wings has a very large menu and when you go in, there is a large selection of things like ice cream, cold drinks, candy and baked goods. The seating area isn’t the nicest and doesn’t look very comfortable, so I always grab my order and go. I’m eager to try more of the menu items here.

I’ve ordered from Gone with the Wings for over ten years, and I’ve never had an issue with the service or the food. The food is very tasty and reasonably priced. All of their sandwiches are made very well, and their wings are terrific. The delivery is also very quick. Not sure why there are several negative reviews. Being a native of the area, I’ve ordered from these guys quite a bit, and their wings are a staple for fight nights! Maybe there are way too many high expectations for a simple wing and Mexican food place?

I hate seeing negative reviews for this place but I hope people read them all before making the decision of going or not going. I gave it 4 stars because yes, the girl sometimes is a little rude on the phone. Guess what people, not all businesses are perfect! The wings are definitely the best in the area. Other than Buffalo Wild Wings, which though good are tiny, these are definitely bigger and tastier! It’s a whole in a wall type of spot. I’ve been ordering wings here for years now. My favorite are the mild and honey mustard. I mean pleaseeee try the honey mustard! The chicken quesadillas are AMAZING! The curly fries are also another favorite of mine. Other than the young daughter who has her moments, the staff is great & friendly. The prices are also great! Give this place a shot, you won’t regret it!

You must understand this place before you try it out. Don’t expect great customer service or «high» quality food because that is not what they are. It’s a greasy fatty food place and that’s what I love about it. Quesadillas are amazing. Also try their buffalo tenders. Not consistent with their prices due to their unprofessional workers. Gwings has its ups and its downs.

After reading some of the negative reviews, I thought I’d add a quick one myself for a place that I like. Gone with the Wings is what it is, a wing spot and grease spot, to me that’s a good thing. Personally I prefer their wings over most places that I frequent and I really love their cheesesteaks, due to the simple fact that they season their meat. Their wings are not tiny, they’re pretty big, and if you like em hot, then you’ll like you’ll enjoy theirs. They have a very big menu, a little something for everyone. I’ve never had a negative experience here before, the staff, which are all family have always been polite and courteous. They are Spanish and so am I, so there’s no language barrier, even though they speak perfect English. Lol I read the language thing as a complaint on another review. The one thing I’d say is somewhat of an issue is the fact they are a little pricey, but these days, everyone’s prices are going up. I love Gone with the Wings and will continue to order here.

Overpriced the food was horrible the customer service was really unprofessional you had people going back and forth from the kitchen to outside never again

Not very good at all. Ordered the nachos and by the time i got them 1 hour and 20 min later you had to eat them with a spoon like a cup of soup. This place used to impress but i dont know what happen not what it used to be.

The wings here are pretty good, make sure you ask for them well done if you’re getting them to go, otherwise they’re a soggy mess. The mild sauce is probably what you wanna go for as well, mild has enough of a kick to make you sweat a little bit, the hot sauce is way too hot and kinda makes you gag. Stay away from the other fried foods on the app menu, I got calamari, it’s the cheap frozen kind that you just throw in oil, super rubbery and not much flavor and the fried zucchini sticks have way too much bread on them and the zucchini inside is pretty much just a mushy goo, not appetizing, the loaded baked potato isn’t that great and the fried chicken tastes no better than supermarket chicken, stick with the wings, that is their specialty.

Okay, so I hate to give 3 stars vs 4, I tend to rate pretty positively. Buttttt. The food is only decent. The people who work there are superrrr nice! The prices are extremely good. They have a wide variety of different food, and their tree leches cake is ahhhhmazing I give 5 stars to that cake *****. Definitely get the chicken fajita wrap its my absolute favorite thing on the menu that gets 4 stars ****.

Gross food, rude service, and over priced… Should I go on?..
I had friends who actually worked there throughout highschool and they told me the horror stories that took place in the kitchen. One of them: Food was dropped on the floor, (floor in the kitchen is absolutely gross, go look if you don’t believe me) then put back on plates and served…
Last time, (it’s been quite a long time), I got food from there the daughter answered the phone, she has a nasty attitude. No common courtesy, no sense of customer service, no thanks, no delivery time estimate, and no total, just hangs up the phone.
This place should have been closed down years ago.
I can’t believe me and my friends used to actually go there on a weekly basis when we were in high school and eat this garbage.

Honestly surprised to see bad reviews on here. Wings is the best place ever. Me and my friends just call it «wings». Been going here since they opened. I read one review saying the people didn’t speak good English? Does that really matter? They’re so nice, they’re a family and they work well together. It’s not fine dining, it’s a place that makes greasy food like wings, fries, anything with cheese. I’ve never been disappointed with them. Today I ordered from a place in which I wanted a plain bagel and they delivered a cinnamon raisin with no phone call to ask if that was ok. Wings always tells you if they have run out of something and give you options for substitutions. Anyway. Wings is the best. Get disco fries with a side of honey mustard! Best thing ever. Also they’re deliver is quick and dependable. Never missed an item and always on time even in a snow storm. Love them.

The menu has to much food downsize is in need. I have been here a few times I have only ordered hot wings afraid to order anything else. I don’t see how they can have huge turnover on that menu to many items. If wings are what you want I say go. Wings were crispy had just enough heat.

Menu prices are completely inaccurate. The online menu said a gyro os $ 4.99 but it’s really $ 8.00. When you say something to them, they say those are old prices. This happened to several people i know. They are scammers. If the prices have been wrong for 3 years, then update them! I feel they leave the old prices so that people see them and what a great deal they are, order, then get hit with a bill $ 20 more. Defintely an unethical place. They also NEVER tell you the total when you call for takeout or delivery, which is another reason i’m led to believe its a scam. They know people would never still want the order if its $ 20-​$ 30 more than you think it is.

Ordered every type of chicken & still haven’t found anything they I care for. not a fan at all..

We love gone with the wings and order delivery all the time. I like there cajun chicken sandwich. I asked them to make a cajun chicken quesadilla (not on menu) they did and it was great.
