I ordered for a family of 4… 1 plain bagel with butter, 1 french toast bagel toasted without butter, 1 french toast bagel with butter, and a bacon egg and cheese on onion bagel. They forgot french toast bagel toasted and put butter on it. The plain bagel they made into an onion bagel with butter. They forgot the bacon egg and cheese on onion bagel entirely. Three out of four in the order either wrong or forgotten. Not the first time my order has been fubar. I’ll find another bagel spot thats near by.

After moving out of Nutley, we miss this place!
To be honest, we haven’t had a wide variety of their items, but their breakfast sandwiches are what get them 5 stars.
Their egg, cheese and hash brown sandwiches are TO DIE FOR.
It’s strange, too. They don’t make their bagels in house, and this used to bother us. But we have been to several places that do make their own bagels and these ones the bring in are still better!
We miss this place.

I’ve come here twice for breakfast now, both times on a Sunday morning. It’s a solid choice — the food and the prices are good. I’ve gotten the bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel as well as the pork roll, egg, and cheese on a bagel and been happy with both. Staff are friendly, and although it gets crowded sometimes they still get you in and out relatively quickly.

It’s a nice little place. Not a ton of selections bagel wise, but the ones they do have are delicious. They also have a nice variety of flavored coffees freshly brewed. I would recommend the everything bagel with scallion cream cheese and bacon. Also the French toast bagel with cream cheese was good. I will be back.

DON’T ORDER OFF OF GRUB​HUB​.COM, they will never receive the order and your account will get charged. Thankfully I ordered it for pickup instead of delivery and they still made my order without charging me anything more.

I go here every morning and never have any problems. The food is good and the service is the best. One of the reviews on Unilocal is from a Tara in Rutherford who wrote a bad review. I was there the morning she came in and the owner could not apologize enough about the mistake. He was extremely nice to her and returned the money to her without a second thought. They do not STEAL money from you. If anything there prices are very reasonable.

Do not go here if you want money stolen from you. I had to use my debit card and in the tip section I forgot to draw a line through the space. They WROTE IN THEIR own amount which is stealing and a crime. Never again going there.

I tried this place out because I am looking for an alternative to my local place (Bob’s, which has excellent bagels and famously less than stellar customer service).
I have had three experiences with Bagel Plus. First, I had their italian sandwich on a bagel. It was just ok. The bagel was pretty good, but the deli meat was sub-​par for this area. It was served with chips which, quite honestly, I could’ve lived without.
The second time, I had a breakfast sandwich. It was delicious. The bagel was fresh, it was served piping hot, and the cheese was melty. It wasn’t the cheese I had ordered, but it was good.
The last time, I ordered a bagel with cream cheese. It was terrible. It was small and very stale. It didn’t look like the bagels I had before.
They are friendly people, but that last bagel was no good. I think if I go back I’ll ask to make sure the bagel is fresh.

I am a big critic when it comes to bagels, but holy cow this is one of the best bagels I have ever had (and believe me, I’ve had A LOT). The bagel was huge, soft and had amazing flavor. You could tell it was hand rolled. The great part is that it’s right up the street from me. I will be definitely visiting this bagel place going forward.

Inexpensive, Delicious, Fast what more can you ask for.
This is my second time there and the owner has been welcoming every time.
Try the Nova Lox it’s delicious. It comes without cream cheese bit I’d suggest getting it on the bagel regardless.
