Zena Clairvoyant

Im giving two stars for this because Im very fond of psychics and how they can pull bullshit together to make you believe anything. I went around 2pm and was greeted at the door by Gabrielle, there was also another girl in lady in the room, they seemed to be in the middle of lunch. She want really friendly, pretty cold actually, and she told me head on upstairs where she she briefed me on the prices. Their prices went up a lot actually, not due to their credibility though. The palm reading was 40 bucks, but she did it for 30 since I asked her too lol. I wasn’t going to pay 40 for it!!! She asked me my name and told me her and she looked at both of my palms. She started off telling me how I was an old soul, and that I would live long. The reason Im giving her two stars, is because she was pretty accurate with what she said about my personality and some of the things, however, I did my research before I went and found a blog post about her, and our readings are basically the same, the mains parts I mean. The old soul, life line, the two romances, the 3 – 4 close friends. if you’re looking for a real psychic then steer clear of this place, but if you feel like blowing some money on something fun then go for it!

This Woman is such a disgusting human being. I went in for a reading and she seems so on point! RUDE AS HELL but she just seemed to hit the nail on the head on some stuff. Thinking back I guess it was stuff that could generally apply to anyone. I was going through a hard time and needed to hear something, anything good. In any event I did the Tarot. I was so taken by her I came back with tons of people over a 5 year period. THEN IT HAPPENED! She asked one of my friends of 4 GOLD coins. She said he had to buy them and give them to her to bury. I was skeptical, so was he but on a hunt for Gold coins we went. We bought them and handed over a pretty expensive token of our faith, as she put it, to be buried. When I told her I had reservations she told me it was none of my concern. This business, she said, was between the two of them. I told her her attitude sucked and that I would not bring her any more business. she didn’t care. needless to say I am not surprised she is doing up to 15 years for scamming $ 140,000. from customers. I know it was more, this is what they caught her for. The rule of Karma as I told her on the way out. WHAT WRONG YOU DO WILL COME BACK TO YOU TENFOLD! She scoffed at me. Hope she reads this. Awful! Her buisness has been there for years (over 10 yrs im sure now) &it needs to be burnt down. She was mean and got an attitude and said I needed a candle and there was nothing she could do to help me until I pay up. Has anyone ever paid for that candle? i paid a few readers for a cleansing and absolutely nothing happened for me ((shruggs)) smh #SCAM

Avoid this woman. When I first went to her, she was very helpful after a bad break-​up. I went back the following week. She was downright mean. She said I did not need another reading. She said that if I paid her $ 500.00, she would go into meditation and tell me what to do about the «problem.» She said I would not have to pay any more. It was a flat rate until the problem was solved. I did not believe a word of it. I politely made an exit, as I had signed up for a legitimate course dealing with the same stuff.

Zena was amazing and absolutely spot on. However her daughter, Sylvia Mitchell — who is wanted by the NYPD for Grand Larceny — will try and take every penny you own, saying its «good for karmic debt». Get the right tarot reader when you go.

Went there several years ago and the stuff she told me was so random, it could have applied to anyone. Like people with initials J and M will enter my life. I’m supposed to look out for a guy who drives a white car. A year or so later a friend of mine went and she was told the EXACT same stuff.
So — I have also no idea how they manage to stay in that building as she is obviously a rip off. Please don’t fall for her. The nice interior might make this look like a legit place but it’s all part of the scam.

Went twice in the span of 2 years.
Got the EXACT SAME READING… WORD FOR WORD.
Clearly, a rehearsed routine.
For the record: I do believe in psychic abilities. Zena is a disgrace.

Been to Zena’s… What a con artist fraud… She’s getting a lawsuit for conning someone out of $ 10k… Good for her !!! Be careful

I’ve walked by Zena’s corner setup on Bleecker and 7^th for years and though I’d never seen anyone in there, her decadent designer duds definitely attracted my attention and made me assume she must be a cut above the rest. So, when my sister 16 year old sister told me that she wanted to go for a psychic reading (just for fun), I figured Zena would be the best to impress her =).
I called Zena, made an appointment and when we went, she was there waiting for us. The first thing I noticed outside was the daunting price list. The other psychics up 7^th Avenue advertised a tarot card reading for $ 5, and at Zena’s, the price was FORTY DOLLARS… yes, $ 40. A regular palm reading is $ 20, a psychic reading is $ 60 and a horoscope chart reading is $ 100. wow. I want to know what happens then! Maybe she takes you upstairs for that.
Anyway, my sister went first and I went next. Between the two of our tarot card readings we were in Zena’s place for approximately fifteen minutes. So if she’s making $ 40 every seven minutes, I finally understand how she can pay the what I assume is an exorbitant rent for this prime piece of real estate. In New Orleans, the home of crystal balls, the prices were lower AND at one place they give you the reading recorded on a cassette tape, which I thought was cool. If nothing else, at least you feel like you’re getting something for your money and it’s also helpful to get you to REMEMBER all the little details that were shared during the reading. Zena didn’t do this so I had to jot some things down before the day was out so I wouldn’t forget.
I liked what she said… I’m not exactly sure what the protocol is with sharing your tarot card reading info… so for once, I’m gonna keep my mouth shut. Like Yihwa said, perhaps I’ll come back in 2010 (something important is supposed to happen then) and let you know if Zena’s reading held true. For now, you probably have all the info you need to know if this place is for you ;).
