Ive eaten here for years. The food is great most times. Their Mexican menu is on point and fresh
favorite go-​to take out.

I can only comment on the fajitas, which were basically terrible. No complaints on service time, price was OK (not cheap, not expensive) but the food was just not good.

I’m sad to say I have to give this place a bad review. When speaking to the owner about an issue with an order, she was more interested in talking over me and hanging up on me than listening to the issue.
The issue was that I wanted to cancel
an order because it was taking way too long. The owner refused to do it & basically tried to force the order on me. During the course of the calls she also hung up on me 5 times.
I’m very disappointed with the poor service.

Meh. Not great, not bad. Decent food for what you pay. Chicken tacos are okay.

So I used to order from this place frequently, but recently decided to stop ordering takeout entirely.
The food is good around 3.5 stars but to deliver I have to give it half a star to even a zero. I live about 7 blocks away and for the past 2 years they have an average delivery time of 45 – 60 minutes!
Last time I ordered they i waited for an hour called and they claimed they sent it out long ago another 20 minutes have elapsed called again and they claim the same. I cancelled my order. 10 minutes later the delivery guy rang my door and called me. I gave him what I would tip him and informed him I cancelled and he apologized explaining that they forgot to even put in my order and they were trying to stall for time!
After this they called my phone constantly trying to insist on me taking the food when I already not only ordered somewhere else but got my food within 20 minutes.
I would NEVER advise to get take out. If you want the food best bet is to go there personally and pick it up. 90 minute wait time is completely and utterly unacceptable.

To me, Yeung’s Number 1 Chinese Restaurant earns 1 star right off the bat, because it’s a family run establishment. The younger son, when not playing video games, helps his mother answer the phone and take orders. The older son, when not sitting quietly on one of the large containers of «Umami Flavor,» is helping his father cook in the kitchen. Sometimes the boys argue for no reason. I find this all rather endearing.
However, to me, no additional stars are earned or warranted, because neither the American-​Chinese food nor the American-​Chinese Tex-​Mex food are very good. The beef is greasy and tough. The chicken is salty and dry. The tortillas are dense and chewy. The rice is flavorless. It’s all just boring upon boring upon boring. And it’s not exactly like this food is healthy for you. If you absolutely have to take in a lot of calories and fat immediately, you might be better off going somewhere else.

Three different dishes ordered from the Mexican side of the menu were perfectly adequate. The one dish we ordered from the Chinese portion of the menu was not: the orange flavored beef was about 70% breading and sauce. The sauce was in fact tasty, but the dish had so little meat that I’m afraid I’m off this place for good; too many better options for both of these cuisines in the neighborhood. But if you’re as excited as the OP is about a couple of free Sprites, this could be your kind of place. Delivery time was standard.

Best Chinese/​Mexican takeout in all of Inwood! They deliver promptly and if you order over $ 10 of food they add 2 sodas to the order for free. Love their sweet & sour chicken and green vegetable dumplings.
