Food was alright. Waited over an hour for it thought. Go to meatball shop around the corner for the same quality food and speedier services. A yuengling is $ 7. Lolz

The owner of this bar sucks. This is a nice place, with decent food, and great staff. But whomever is in charge is a terrible business person. Since opening, they’ve raised prices, limited discounts for regulars, dumped their stupid Pay Half Club support without warning, and just generally seem to be at odds with making people happy. I wish the staff all the best, and hope to see them at other bars in the area.

Wogies is my jam! Best wings(Krazy Kate’s wings aka buffalo wings), so good that I’ve never ordered anything else. I order take out all the time and it’s never taken more than 30 mins! All of their sauces are made in house and you can really taste the difference! Great place to watch games too!

Just got a delivery. Not amused. Steak dry and tasteless. Not enough onions. Not enough cheese. Bread was good. Waffle fries were ok. Soggy on opening the box but crisped up enough on opening to be adequate. Was hoping for better. Place on third avenue was better. Don’t understand how you can screw up a cheese-steak

The wings are the best in the city. I searched long and hard and there is nowhere that is close. If you know wings this is the place. fun dive bar for a big game and great for wings anytime!

Cheesesteak = loose dry arid meat on bread. Inattentive staff. Few tvs, might be ok for a philly fan. Patio was not bad.

First time ordering in from this restaurant five stars because they got here 20 minutes earlier than they said they would. My Philly cheesesteak sandwich was perfect and my fries were perfect. Delivery fries are always soggy these however, crispy and delicious. Good on you.

Really wishing I had a 3.5 star rating. On a Sunday, our targeted destination had a 2.5 hour wait on a long line without the ability to make a reservation. Wogies to the rescue! Cozy and cute, it’s big enough to host a bunch of people without being overwhelmingly huge. There were clearly some regulars, meaning that it’s a destination that’s good enough to come back to. The beer was decent, with some of their own brews paired with some classics(Yuengling anyone?). The food was ok — classic American fair. The food wasn’t earth shattering, but it satiated our hungry tummies while giving our feet a break. In the area — definitely give it a go even if it’s just for a quick drink or two. Hungry? Grab a bite to eat too.

This was a nice place to get a quick drink, had a sports bar vibe. Bartender was nice and I liked my gin & tonic. Seats were taken on Saturday night but it wasn’t that crowded. LOVED the background music– music from the 90’s and 2000’s!

Went here on Friday night for a bite to eat and some beer! The hot wings were absolutely amazing!!! Definitely recommend the waffle fries with cheese. Hope to be back in the future.

Best cheesesteak in NYC? Food is always fresh and tasty, and is very reasonably priced based on Manhattan standards. Haven’t had a better cheesesteak anywhere else in the 5 boroughs. I wish they had a better draught list, but the food and service make up for it. Some of the best valued bar food in Manhattan.

Had an overnight work trip recently. Unilocal brought me here for dinner, drinks & I called ahead to see if they would have the Miami Heat game on television. They did and when I walked in(game already underway) they already had it on main TV at the bar. Bartender recognized my hat(Miami Heat) and motioned me towards a prime seat at the bar to view the game. Staff was very cool & friendly. Great at striking up conversation. Wings were GREAT. crispy but spun in perfect amount of a delicious buffalo sauce. I hadn’t eaten all day so after the game I took a cheese steak hoagie to go. It was great too(although a little messy) highly recommend this place & I will be back.

GF and i were hungry one night and felt for cheesesteaks. Closest cheesesteak place in the area with great reviews was this one. Place was kind of packed but still were able to grab a seat with no problem or crowd. I had the cheese steak hoagie and it was great. Didn’t lack flavor at all, bread was excellent. Service also was great. I will definitely be back soon!

Decided to check out Wogies after two friends recommended the place for its wings, waffle fries and garbage bread. The wings here are heavenly. Hot. Juicy. Crunchy. Saucy. Beautiful. Life changing.

laid back atmosphere, very casual. Its an Eagles bar which is good for eagles fans. The Cheese Steaks were good. Very small restuarant i wouldnt reccomend coming with a large party.

As a born and bred Philly native, their cheesesteak is the best you can get in New York City. I can list all the rest, but this is «The Best». Huge fan, and I get the pizza steak about once a week. But, I think it also needs an honorable mention for their chicken wings. Kate’s Krazy Sauce(I get it medium), is «Lick the bottom of your plate» fantastic. Dunk that in their bleu cheese and it is heavenly. I sometimes don’t even order a cheesesteak because I just like the wings so much. Delivery is good, not great. Sometimes its quick and there have been times I have waited 45 minutes to an hour for delivery.

If we’re just talking service, this is a five star establishment. I lost a terrible bet a few weeks ago when my Jets lost to the bird team from down south. This required me to wear a Eagles polo shirt to work. I figured since I’m wearing the shirt, why not check out an Eagles bar — this led us to Wogies. We sat at the bar early last Friday afternoon. The bartender was phenomenal. Told her about the bet, great sense of humor about it and really seemed to enjoy the story. Think she even took our picture. As soon as our beer glasses were empty, she brought another one along. And it wasn’t like there weren’t others there. There was a table of 5 or so sitting, another table or two outside, others by the bar — but she handled everything so quickly. I wish every bartender was like she was. We’ll come back(without the Eagles polo), because of her. As far as the food — above average, but not Shorty’s. We had one Philly cheesesteak, and another Buffalo chicken cheesesteak. Both were good, but again this was not at the Shorty’s level. The fries were the highpoint of the meal, very thin, crunchy, and just damn yummy. The Philly egg rolls sounded great on paper, but were disappointing. The draft beers were great. Not sure what temperature they keep them at, but they were so refreshing and went down very easy. I would definitely go with the Wogies lager again. This place is a must if you are from Philly, but even if you’re not, give it a shot. You’ll have a good time.

In an area of quaint bistros and artisanal stuff, it is always good to have a quasi-dive spot to get some cheap eats — especially late night. We were out wandering around our neighborhood last night and were looking for something simple to eat. It was after 11 and almost every restaurant was closed. We stumbled upon Wogies on Greenwich and popped in for a bite. The menu is pretty simple, comprised of the usual bar food suspects. We split an order of mild wings. The wings were pretty good, crispy on the outside, drenched with a somewhat spicy buffalo sauce. The service was ok. We had to flag down the server to our table a few times, but our server was also a bartender(since it was so late at night), so it really was not that big of a deal. I will definitely return here again.

As a phan of all things Philly, I need to give Wogies 5 stars. I wouldn’t be doing my city justice otherwise. There’s nothing overtly special about Wogies if you’re a New Yorker looking for a sports bar. But as a rabid Philly sports girl living in enemy territory, this place is a safe haven for me. I came here on a Friday night at 7 with my only ally here in New York to watch the Phillies game. We didn’t go to watch good quality baseball, we just went to be with our people. And that’s exactly what happened. Despite it being playoff season for the NHL and NBA, we still found a few more diehard phans who were there under similar circumstances. Wogies itself is pretty small. The space is mostly comprised of big tables that are great for a small group of friends that wants to stuff its face with wings and cheesesteaks, and drink some decent cheap beer. Not much bar seating, but we managed to grab a few chairs and pull them up to the ledge dividing the bar and seating areas. Not sure how easy that would’ve been later at night, but it worked out for us at the time! One note on the drinks here: They have quite an impressive selection of whiskey. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had my two favorite bourbons, Blanton’s and Widow Jane(obviously in addition to the typical stuff). So if you’re somebody who’s not into the whole pitcher of beer thing, you can have yourself a classy evening – at the expense of your wallet(literally).
