I never miss a chance to get a mani pedi at Wistaria when I visit New York. They always do a brilliant job, are friendly and professional and the place is spotless. The fact that the price is good is just an added bonus!

Love my nails ! Brenda did a great job. I’ve had acrylic nails for a long time and often they look super thick and unnatural. So I was super excited about how natural looking it came out !

They are very friendly and reasonably priced. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the pedicure chairs don’t have massagers. Whomp whomp. But other than that it was great.

I think I found my go-​to nail salon. Very clean, very friendly staff, my nail technician was very detailed and careful with my manicure. I also trust the hygiene of the store, their tools and towels are properly cleaned. Bring cash! To use credit card there’s a minimum of $ 20 expense. But you also get a little discount when you use cash.

This salon is in Greenwich Village and its amazing! I went in asking for a full set and they sat me right away. When picking a color, they were very patient and told me to take my time. Brenda was my nail tech and she understood exactly what I wanted! I should her a picture of what I wanted and she looked at it for a second and understood the shape and length! She made sure that everything was perfect and verified with me that I liked what she was doing. Brenda was so sweet too! Thank you so much for my nails, I will definitely be back in two weeks!
(I also messed up 3 nails the next day and went in in the morning. Nancy repainted all 3 nails free of charge! I made sure to tip her well. Thank you Nancy!)

I’m a stickler for good service, I went here a couple months back after reading other reviews. I made an appt. ahead of time and arrived to get an acrylic set for my friends wedding. I brought a print out of the dress I had to wear. I saw Ken, he seemed rushed, distracted and uninterested. It also seemed like the other nail techs in the spa were gossiping about customers as they glanced back and forth and whispered in another language, sometimes giggling and staring at customers they were working on.
The nails themselves were hideous to me. There were dents in the acrylic and it seemed misshapen. For the price I paid, I thought I would get something better. They also did not wear well over the week as lifting occured and my dried cuticles reared their ugly heads. They looked well enough for the wedding that was the next day but I wouldn’t go back here.

I got acrylic nail extensions done by Ken who is amazing! I came in late and it was near their closing hours. He still spent 2 hours on my nails and did a fabulous job. I highly recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a reasonably priced gel manicure extension.

Decided to get my nails done on a late Monday night, and I was pleased with the service, quality and attentiveness of the staff.
First off, the shop closes at 9pm, and when I called at 8:30pm to see if I could still walk-​in and get a gel manicure, Ken, the person I spoke with, assured me that the time would not be an issue.
I was immediately seated the moment I entered the salon and Ken went promptly to work. I have short, stubby fingers, but Ken made sure to elongate my fingers by filing and shaping my nails so they would look longer.
After precise filing and shaping, Ken took great time to make sure that proper coats of the base coat, gel color, and top coat were applied so that my nails would not become frail and brittle.
I left the store around 10pm, a good hour after the salon had already closed, but never once did I feel that Ken or his assistants were rushing to finish my manicure so that they could close shop and go home. In addition, I could not have asked for a better price of $ 33, which I ended up tipping to make a total of $ 40. Overall, I had an amazing experience and will definitely be back at the salon again.

I always make the time to visit this clean, friendly and welcoming nail spa. I love their Mani/​Pedi packages with the 20-​minute massage. For the times that I only get a mani, I always add a 10-​minute back massage — it’s such a great way to pass the time while you’re drying!
I honestly don’t think there is a better deal in the NYC. I’m born and raised in NYC and have gone to many salons in my life but Ken and his army of nail technicians are by far the best. I typically have regular polish applied but for the times that I’ve had gel applied, my nails have never looked better and for weeks on end!
Wistaria Nail Spa on Christopher has definitely become my favorite part of my weekly beauty ritual!

Was in the village this afternoon and found ourselves with nothing to do. On a whim we decided to get manicures and didn’t even bother to call beforehand to secure appointments.
We walked in around 2:30 and were paired off with our technicians immediately. They did a phenomenal job with our manicures.
I think at one point I was used as advertisement to lure more guys into the store front. They placed me in the station nearest to the window. Fortunately for me, I have absolutely no shame when it comes to pampering myself.
Best of all, this place is extremely affordable by city standard and a bargain compared to the nearby Spa Belles which has significantly worse reviews. All in all, including tip, our two manicures came out to $ 35.

Got a shellac manicure for $ 48. It was rushed, with the woman not bothering to massage my hands and only sloppily applying lotion. She left the station to restock towels during my manicure and hurt my cuticles when trimming them. When I didn’t leave a big tip, she was verbally rude. I feel like I wasted my money and wish I hadn’t come here.

My fave. Worth the splurge. Always great service and walk out of there with exactly what I was looking for

I have mixed feelings about this place! I left feeling pretty annoyed because the staff was so unfriendly. The lady doing my nails had a horrible attitude (she kept rolling her eyes at me– or other people?) And mid-​manicure the technicians switched because the one I had first left me mid-​manicure while she gave someone a 10 minute massage. Not good customer service at all.
On the plus side, my gel manicure is one of the best I have ever had. It has lasted over 2 weeks with no chips. So that’s a plus.

Great gel manicure, good pedicure, good 20 Min chair massage… Everything was going so well that I decided last minute I’d get an upper lip wax… SHE RIPPED MY SKIN OFF. I am on vacation with a bright red mark of where she waxed on my upper lip… literally a bright red mustache shape above my lip. it’s painful and totally embarrassing. Do NOT go there for anything but nails. The mani/​pedi was good and It’s the only reason I gave a two star. They also double dipped wax. Gross. Will not return or recommend.

I rarely write reviews but the service was impeccable it deserved one. You can tell that KEN really cares about his work because he paid attention to every detail. I wanted acrylic nails and showed him a picture. He was able to deliver the exact shape. This has been very hard to find!
With my acrylic nail application he also cut the cuticles, used cuticle oil, hand massage and a hot towel. Most places do not include this in the service and charge extra.
The salon is beautiful, clean, and peaceful vibe. They even have a charging center for your cellphones. Which is great for people like me who forget there chargers.
This salon is out of my way but I will DEFINITELY be coming back to see KEN because it’s worth it! Thank you so much Ken!

$ 55 for acrylic gel nails and if you want a shellac coat on top (not sure why you would need that, $ 30 extra). Is it me or that’s insane prices?!

This is the only place I go to for my nails! Ken always does a clean Job. My nails would last longer than three weeks. Ken is very detailed — he really takes time to shape and design nails. I travel just to come here.

Stopped in here on a Sunday about noon without an appointment and was able to get a mani-​pedi right away. It’s a super clean, calm, quiet salon. I think they have every Essie and OPI color possible — and they put the names on the front so it’s really easy to find a particular color. (Wish all salons did that!)
Basically no-​frills — not a long massage, no fancy heated chairs, water/​coffee/​mimosa, but my nail tech (Aissa — pronounced Eye-​sha) was super thorough and did a fantastic job with all aspects of my mani/​pedi. I chose a light pink for my nails, which has streaky-​disaster potential but she did a great job making it look perfect and even went around the nail tips, which as any girl knows makes your polish last way longer! It’s been five days and both my mani and pedi still look great.
It’s $ 35, but only $ 33 if you pay in cash, which is a nice bonus. They also have a stamp card — after 10 services, you get $ 10 off the next. And when I was done and sitting at the fans, she gave me a back rub for a couple of minutes, which was really nice.
Will definitely be back here to see Aissa!

Based on the great reviews (and my constant presence in this neighborhood), I stopped in here one weekend for a quick regular manicure. The process was quick — got the mani on a Saturday, and it started chipping on Monday (you can decide if that’s good or bad for you… it’s bad for me).
The place is very quiet and nondescript, which I liked. And they didn’t pressure me to get anything extra… no quick dry top coat or spa manicures!
