Great food! From out of town, was looking for an authentic tasting Chinese joint, this is the place. Great service.

This place doesn’t exist, i think it was taken over by St. Georges Tavern, which serves Chinese food.

Me and my friend had dinner here right after we came outside of the 911 memorial museum. We ordered spicy boiled beef and a veggie dish(sorry for my bad memory… I only remember the Chinese) Both of the dishes were quite decent, but the amount was not generous and it charges $ 1.5 for each bowl of rice(Thai rice, very nice though). And the highlight was that it served customer with hot fresh boiled green tea~

Wenger A.K.A. St. George features outstanding & authentic Chinese food. Housed on the second floor of an old church, the atmosphere is relaxing and the service is polite and attentive. I highly recommend the sweet & sour pork. They also serve great tea.

Recently stumbled upon this place. It’s actually on the second floor of the same building that St George’s Tavern is in. It wasn’t immediately clear that you go into the tavern and then go up the stairs on the left. This restaurant recently opened and it was a great surprise. With some other asian restaurants in the area recently closing, I was happy to see this one opened. It seems to be owned by the same owner as the tavern. We ordered a few items such a the dumplings, beef and vegetables, etc. I would say the food was pretty good but not excellent. It seemed relatively fresh. I think the best thing about the place is the interior design is very pretty. It is well designed with art work, artifacts, etc. They also have a room you can reserve for a party of 8 or so that has curtains that close. I will definitely go back to this place again and look forward to trying more of the food there. Would be perfect if a place like this had hand-pulled noodles but probably that is too much to ask for the financial district. :)
