Had the chirashi and it was decent; though, as with most chirashi, it wasn’t cheap.

Beluga and I tried this at the advice of Porkchop, but we were underwhelmed. My sushi/sashimi was so-so(some fish pieces were rubbery, the rice was hard), and Beluga’s spicy rolls were mehh(and she’s an expert, as the majority of the beluga diet is fish). It wasn’t cheap either: a sushi/sashimi combination is about $ 22, which is how much it would be at Yasuda! With so many other good sushi places in the area, skip this one. For casual, Sushi You on 51st is my recommendation!

$ 10−13USD gets you stuffed. Fresh Sushi at a great value. This place offers platters that come at a good value. The platter I had was very basic(shrimp, salmon, egg, fluke, etc.). Not comparable to high-end sushi but, this is definitely one of the better takeout place for raw fish.

this place just opened up in my neighborhood about two months ago.(march 25th to be exact). it’s almost always empty which is mad lame because the food is way better – more interesting, more meticulously prepared – than your average japanese take-out place. the chirashi has ikura and uni in it, which totally rocks. the service was kind of slow, but i bet that’s a function of its newness. oh and when i got take out they even gave us green tea while we were waiting. that was cool too.
