I wasn’t a big fan of crepes to begin with, so I might have set my expectations very high when I say that I thought the crêpe was average. I got something more savory, particularly with turkey, mushrooms, gruyère and tomato sauce. Maybe I should’ve gotten something more sweet? Who knows, but I’ll be reviewing what I ordered and ate. I thought it was nothing more than average in my opinion. The place itself is small and you can see your crêpe getting done — which is cool I guess. Friendly staff, and good place to just chill, if it doesn’t get crowded.

Nutella crêpe is such a treat. It is so light but yet comforting with its creamy nutty rich chocolate filling. It pairs perfectly with their cutest little cup of espresso. Such a cozy spot to sit quietly and read.

First time trying Vive La Crêpe. I really liked this location — fairly small but very clean and great design with around five tiny tables lining one side. I came on a Thursday around 12:45pm and it was surprisingly fairly empty. The #9 on the Savory Crêpe menu(Chicken, pesto, gruyère, spinach, etc) was pretty good and the crêpe itself was crispy and warm. There were no plateware or utensils but I held the crêpe like a cone. I am looking forward to return and try a Sweet crêpe.

Cute little shop with few customers inside made us believe we could get a quick bite. Two employees were behind the counter, one(mostly) manning the register and taking orders and the other making crepes. We ordered a #10 gruyère and ham and a #4 spinach, goat, mushroom and basil. The crepes were good when we finally got them but the wait for them was mystifying. So we had plenty of time to watch the two young women make crepes and wait on a customer or two. A customer at the table next to us asked for a replacement crêpe because something was in it that shouldn’t have been, I gathered. The employee usually at the register began making a crêpe. We watched as she carefully folded it into thirds, picked it up with her thin spatula, and then promptly dropped it on the floor.

Ran across this little place wandering around for a bite after the Met. Craving something a little sweet, we jumped at the chance to try one. Got the dulce de leche crêpe and it was fantastic. Smooth filling, perfectly sweet, soft, and(almost) gooey. All of it served up in a convenient sleeve that cupped up all of the excess neatly. Took a star off because it’s little on the pricey side and very hot inside the place.

It was way too hot inside temperature-wise. Additionally, they messed up my crêpe and instead of offering it to me in case I didn’t care, they threw it out, didn’t say anything to me and made another one, so I ended up getting mine after everyone was done eating. Not particularly friendly staff, either. However, the crepes were fine. Nothing spectacular but they tasted good

For me it came as a surprise to discover a new restaurant from you guys in UES. I normally have to go to the location in Soho to get my Nutella and Berries crêpe which I absolutely love. A couple of weeks ago I went there with my three-year-old son with the intention of getting a crêpe before I got home. There was an issue with my payment process and since I had no cash(it was my intention of paying with my Paypal phone app) the lady and the young man were very patient and understanding while we tried to figure out what was going on with the app. I ended leaving with my crêpe and very happy that I had to deal with the whole situation with those two wonderful employees. I for some reason deleted their names but I will be returning again not only for another crêpe but to get their names again and to give them the recognition they deserve. Thanks again.

Crepes were ok but the service was pretty poor. We were the only customers there but the staff were too busy socializing and texting to clean the tables. Had to ask a second time before they made my coffee. Won’t be visiting again.

It’s a new spot close to mom — a no frills, but charming little café. It’s become a go-to for a little mom and daughter time occasionally outside of her store when I’m dropping in to say hello. From savory to dessert crepes, and a nice cup of coffee, it is a nice break away from the typical Starbucks madness.
