Didn’t know what to expect but decided to give it a try and it blown me away! We had classic honey and laver flavor. It was the perfect balance in every way. Wish I didn’t have to share and had gotten one all by myself. Such a special treat, highly recommend!

I ordered the twist of vanilla and tahini(sesame seed flavour). It was a ok ice-cream not such delicious. I though it was frozen yogurt but it tasted not like yogurt at all. The place was tiny and fresh. But the ice-cream was not as good as expected.

I love goat anything, so of course I would fall in love with the soft serve at Victory Garden! I’ve tried a few of their flavors on rotation including salted caramel, chocolate rosemary, and walnut, but the original flavor is my favorite! The plain flavor really allows the«goat» flavor to shine through, but still tastes clean and tart. I go here when I feel like having an alternative to my regular ice cream places.

I love this place. Something about goat’s milk. It is so good. I recommend the plain or salted caramel with halva. You will be very happy.

I came out of curiosity since I love goat cheese and thought this might be a healthier alternative to Pinkberry. I recommend to sample before you commit to a whole cup, because the goat milk gives the frozen yogurt a distinct gamey-ness that most people probably aren’t used to. It tastes closer to goat meat than goat cheese, if that makes sense. The consistency of the yogurt is pleasantly thick and not icy. Though I’m glad to have tried it, I won’t be getting it again since the flavor just didn’t do it for me. I actually liked how the melted portion tasted better than the solidified yogurt. Maybe it would have been better with toppings, but those seemed overpriced at $ 1 apiece.

This place is cute little spot with a cool concept. Never did I think that ice cream could or would be made with goat milk, but I was pleasantly surprised. I sampled all of the flavors, and decided on the black walnut which is a nice change from the standard ice cream flavors. Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area and are looking for a quick sweet bite.

Yes. Just, yes. Goat milk ice cream. I’d never heard of it before, but now I am in love. This place knows how to serve it up too. Cool shop. Brightly lit with a few seats. Service was very friendly and generous with samples. I ran across this place when I was walking through Greenwich Village with my son on my way to my friends apartment. So glad we decided to go back out for dessert. I was a little skeptical, not having goat milk ice cream in the past, but now I have been converted. We had two servings — chocolate and salted caramel flavored ice cream. Both were awesome. Will definitely be returning.

This was my first time trying goat milk ice cream. I was very pleased. I enjoyed it and I think it is definitely worth a try. It is very smooth and cremey. I had it with walnuts with a cookie cone. Very good.

Goaty goodness in the form of soft serve ice cream! Yes, it IS strong enough to taste. I honestly think every flavor besides the salted caramel is just ok. That being said, The salted caramel is AMAZING and is a must try! Of course, if any favors catch you eye, go ahead and sample :) I think this place is worth trying, but not worth going all the time due to how expensive it is.

I really do love the classic Tangy Goat flavor. However, I’m docking one star for the chef/owners stubborn and unwillingness to listen to her customers. Bring Back The Passionfruit Syrup! And while I was whining about that in the store, another customer came in wondering where the selection of vegan foods was going… don’t get rid of it! For goodness sakes, listen to your clientele!!! Also, its ridiculous to offer syrups on your sundaes but to refuse those same syrups in a standalone form. If you run out, make more! You’ll probably make more money! …Upon completing my rant, I decided that two stars were worth docking for this syrup injustice!

It’s interesting. Goat milk soft serve. The taste is more subtle at first and creamier than dairy but then there is a bit of a sour or tangy aftertaste. There is also an earthy, grassy element that I wasn’t used to but didn’t dislike either. I got the Queen V: Salted caramel goat milk soft serve with chocolate crunch and halva. Quite pricey… for soft serve. It’s something I would have to try it out but not necessarily frequently go to.

location: pretty much o think it is located on lower west side –green village area, very close to NYU. This place is on carmie street where desserts are everywhere. If it’s not hard to find, despite the fact that the store is very small. But if you do have a hard time to look for it, just locate the church first and victor garden is next by the church Ice cream: I guess they only provide few flavors each day. Today, there are fours choices: chocolate Rosemary, goal milk, caramel and watermelon. I was not awarded that they are famous for their goal milk flavor but due to curiosity, I tried the tangy goal milk. I may say it’s too strong as a milk type for me to each a whole thing. So I passed that. Instead, I had chocolate. Wow, it’s also made of goat milk(totally unexpected). I have to say, the ice cream balanced chocolate(I do believe it’s dark chocolate) and gat milk well. Not too goaty, as well as not too darky.(Obviously, I don’t know what I am talking about) anyway, it’s good Service: I don’t feel like I was welcome here. I don’t know why. I see a lot of Unilocalers suggest the same shitty attitude they had when they were at the store, I felt like they should really improve on their service quality, at least attitude. The decorations are nice here tho Overall: 4 stars for the innovative flavor — goat milk

IT’S JUSTME. I don’t really enjoy how tangy goat’s milk is, and I tried several flavors at Victory Garden, and it was very creamy, but I couldn’t get over the tanginess.

This is my favorite ice cream place in New York. If you are nervous to try goat’s milk fro yo. don’t be. It is so creamy and not as dense as normal ice cream. I also like that the ice cream isn’t overwhelmingly sweet. For flavors, try the salted caramel or the tangy goat’s milk. I personally don’t like the chocolate as much because it reminds me of eating one of those chocolate bars that you are supposed to make hot chocolate out of, but if you are really into chocolate you’ll like it. They also offer seasonal flavors. If you feel like going all out, get toppings! I add the halva usually. If you go with a friend, I recommend splitting a larger size like the queen size since you get a free topping and it’s around $ 7 I think. Really cute setting with other goat related products like soap. The space is small, so unless you can get a seat at one of the stools by the door or the bench outside, you’re better off walking to the plaza down the street.

Delicious sweet creamy goat’s milk soft serve. Salted caramel was rich, sweet, and creamy. The original tangy goat milk is surprisingly good. Just a slight tanginess from goat milk but ultra sweet and creamy. A very delicious and satisfying soft serve. Goat’s milk really works well. They have huge sundaes that look amazing, bit on the pricy side. It’s still in my mind how yummy it was!

I LOVE Victory Garden and their goat’s milk frozen yogurt. I have been back many times when I find myself in the West Village! I usually get one scoop of the 4 ever changing flavors and top the scoop with pistachios. However, this time I decided to try one of their enticing sounding sundaes where you get to choose 1 or 2 of the froyo flavors(I chose the lavender honey and black currant flavors, both wonderful) and they will top it with sauces, fruits etc. I was recommended the midsummer night’s dream which comes with a lavender rosemary shortbread, black currant sauce and stone fruit. I thought that the black currant sauce masked the delicate flavors of my fro yo and made the whole thing too sweet. It was so sweet that I couldn’t finish it. I think next time I will stick with my 1 scoop of froyo and choose my own toppings! Snapped: The midsummer night’s dream sundae, lavender honey swirled with black currant froyo with lavender rosemary shortbread, black currant bay leaf sauce, stone fruit Nom Factor: 6.5÷10 for the sundae; 9⁄10 for the fro yo

Yum! Goat milk fro yo?! Who would have thunk it! A very health conscious friend suggested this after a dinner in the city one night. She mentioned that goat milk is easier on your stomach than normal dairy and one glance at your website and you’ll see she is right! Their soft serve was so incredible. I got a combo of the salty caramel and the tart and it was such a nice mix. I topped the creamy goodness with the chewiest brownie and homemade cookie crumble and a bit of caramel drizzle. This might be a new go-to for me in NY!

This is the best soft serve I’ve ever had! The chocolate is a creamy dreamy very subtley tangy dream-come-true in your mouth. I had it in a shell made of ground up coconut which was also quite tasty. My boyfriend had the strawberry, which was chock full of real fruit, with halvah on top. The people who work there are so friendly and adorable, probably because they’re eating this heavenly food all the time. Apparently, the owner got the idea for using goat’s milk when she was traveling around Turkey a lot a few years ago. Legit. It is a bit on the pricy side, but the servings are generous. The food(yogurts, ricotta toast, salads) also look great and I’ll be sure to try those when I make it back.

Who knew goat milk soft-serve could be so dang good! Believe me be! The flavor is a teensy bit tart(I couldn’t tell, but the store owner says it is). And the texture is very, very creamy and goes down smooth. So refreshing. This is a small, charming boutique ice cream shop on the West Side. This is a great option for when nearby crowd-pleaser Big Gay Ice Cream’s line is too long. They offer about 4 – 5 rotating flavors daily. On the evening that I went, they sold original/Tart goat milk flavor(with hints of honey), Chocolate, Salted caramel and Lavender/vanilla. I went with the original goat’s milk flavor — and added two spiral cookies to top it off. My only gripe is that they only have cups and no cones. It would even tastier with a crunchy waffle. But I leave content and very happy. The store also sells beauty and home products that are made with goat milk(soaps, etc) that follow the same theme. It would make for a unique parting gift.

Mmm, you can’t go wrong with the salted caramel with halva! I sampled the chocolate lavender and fennel, but the caramel blew me away. Goat milk ice cream has a nice consistency that is rich and creamy, but is a bit tart like frozen yogurt. The menu is small and straightforward, boasting 5 – 6 flavors at most. The ladies behind the desk were extremely generous with samples. As for the space, it’s small, so not ideal for groups. I’ll totally be dropping by during the hotter months to take my salted caramel to-go!
